Draft age is not a knock for a competing team. It was a knock for Mikal and Cam Johnson too. I have gotten to the point where I really don't care about age. Younger players are more risky.

I feel like the hit percentage on “big high school prospect that crashed and burned on the next level” is about zero percent.

If that trend holds true then Dan played himself.

Yup, I picked up on that, too. I feel pretty certain that's who we wanted and probably Cleveland knew it. Not a high likelihood of it having a significant impact on the future, but you never know.

A few things stand out to me from his highlights. He has decent size, appears to be a solid athlete and has a very smooth shooting stroke. I think there is a decent chance he at least becomes a solid bench 3 and D guy, but I see a little potential for more.
