What the hell is a Tsunami Camera? But I'm glads we gots one.
Draft age is not a knock for a competing team. It was a knock for Mikal and Cam Johnson too. I have gotten to the point where I really don't care about age. Younger players are more risky.
A lot of people still latch onto that for some reason. I can understand it when comparing players that are otherwise very equal, but otherwise being older largely just means they will contribute sooner. This is why I was pointing it out. I was expecting to see a lot more negatives than age.
Having another Torrey Craig on this team from the draft would be a very good outcome.

Our Summer League invites look like mini G League try outs. Some of the articles have quotes saying, "invited to try out for a two way roster spot..."It seems that the prior front office lead by JJ preferred to let the NCAA function as a defacto G league for the Suns. The problem being is that you have no control over the playera and have to compete with 29 other teams for their services.
I know it was just combine, but his drills show him swishing all his threes in the recorded stuff on NBA.com. If that IS the case, with his defense, ability to score on fast breaks, and he can hit a three? That's a valuable piece for the Suns.Something encouraging from Camara in his college career. His three point percentage got significantly better in each season. Shows that he has put in the work to improve it and that it is a skill that he is consistently improving. He may not be known as a great shooter as of now, but don't be surprised if he turns into a pretty darn good shooter in the league.
Yeah, that seems about right. I can't think of any that turned it around. That Todd guy we got from Washington is another example of that.I feel like the hit percentage on “big high school prospect that crashed and burned on the next level” is about zero percent.
If that trend holds true then Dan played himself.

with MORE defense.Toumani is Kelly Oubre with a shot, and less defense?
If THAT is your only concern, a guy who hits 2 out of every 3 Free throws, then this guy will be a beast!I'm ok at the 52nd pick.
His 67% FT shooting seems like a problem. Hopefully he can turn into a 3 and D player for us, but I am overly dubious of that.
Some occasional dives to the basket, fast break points, and solid defense are his purview, too! If he can play D like Bridges, he will get a role on the starting team. I liked what I saw in that video. His technique is solid. Just have to see if it translates to NBA speed and strength. His main job is to rebound everything and kick out to the three headed monster.
I looked at our guys comps: Aaron Gordon, Paul Milsap, etc. Their guy was good scoring ion the paint. Our guy had better three point potential. Plus our guy was moving all over the floor guarding guys. His footwork was amazing on defense. It's funny, I had the same first initial reaction you did. Then I dug a bit more, and I like our guy better. One question I see asked is why didn't the Suns draft Trayce Jackson-Davis instead. He was traded to the Warriors at #57.
Yeah. I was kinda wanting TJD too. But what do I know? This guy might be fine.I looked at our guys comps: Aaron Gordon, Paul Milsap, etc. Their guy was good scoring ion the paint.
