I just wonder how coachable Kyler is. Does he take any responsibility in film session.

Dude misses a lot of the easy ones
Terrible game by K1.

Terrible game by the O line and defense though also. We're a bad football team right now, and will have no trouble losing out.

I won't be shocked if we win another game, but I would be surprised.
honestly we will probably blow out Indy. Then lose 3 straight to end the season.

That’s a copout… He’s clearly holding onto the ball too long and not seeing open wide receivers regardless of the play Cole you’re making too many excuses…

This!

When my wife is yelling "OMG 13 was wide open, he was even looking right at him before he spun around and got drilled!"
It's bad.
Kyler is playing like crap.... Buy hey, his stats are still decent.

People are dreaming about Indy. What does Indy do best? They run and keep the ball away from other team. Guess which team is very bad to defend that style?

Indy will set a rushing record against us.
I felt really uneasy about the Lions game all week. The NFL is so perverse, I would not be the least bit surprised if we play really well against the Colts. We have managed to make the Colts feel extremely good about playing us, that it will be their turn to play an egg.

Yeah, I know cheese, tell me all about how wrong I am. It's ok. But, remember you heard it here first.

And, if what you said happens? So what? I will be wrong. There was a reason I avoided all the lions pregame threads and predictions. But, I have made a prediction for Xmas.

You guys are funny.. try looking at the play calling, try looking at the Oline play. The offensive scheme puts him in a terrible position - often. The Oline is atrocious.. as was it last year. With Hudson we are mediocre without him as bad or worse than las year.
:D

Any excuse but Kyler's fault right? smfh

We already lost Hudson for a few games this year and played very well without him. I think it is stupid to pin all the problems on Kyler. But it's also just as wrong to not admit Kylee made some bad throws, bad decisions and just didn't have that mojo today.

Rodgers defense is sucking vs a backup QB and has 4 of his 5 starting OL out and he is keeping pace with the Ravens. Kyler could barely score a TD vs the Lions.

Since you like to be objective about your views on Kyler, has anyone compared him to one of the best quarterbacks to ever play this game? I haven't seen any of that.

Some guys find ways when things are crappy. Others don't. A lot of people make a ton of excuses for a QB who is being discussed as a top 5 guy. As of now, Kyler has shown that he is an average to bad NFL QB when the games matter most.

I mean people were saying he was favorite to be the MVP...I am pretty sure his competition was Rodgers and Brady and Mahomes.

Uh... plenty of people have deemed him TRANSCENDENT. Which is a laughable joke.
I am one of those guys. And I don't think the book is closed either.

His lows have been remarkably low though. Still...... so young.

And he had played outstanding ball for the most part.

Our problem is that when the lights are on (primetime) or it was a critical game to win, we have choked BIG TIME.

I think it's also a product of Kyler not playing much football at a high level since his college days as well... this is the NFL though, big money and therefore that can't be an excuse if he wants to succeed, the boy is going to have to temper his energy and play smarter till he learns if he wants to be great

He absolutely is but I think it's not so much holding it too long it's when he has pressure in his face he either backs up or he turns his back so he can't see guys that are open.

I think one thing this year that's really obvious is when hudson doesn't play, Kyler isn't very trusting of his OL. Against the Rams with Hudson it didn't matter they were just blowing up the OL into the backfield over and over I don't blame Kyler at all for not trusting his OL there

The Lions kept coming up the middle because they knew Hudson wasn't there, with one exception every screen, not lateral pass but screen, worked for that precise reason they were coming so hard up the middle. But Kyler has to audible to those or Kliff has to call more, and Kyler has to stand in there not turn his back and try to run back.

He was terrible today and really nobody played well, 2 drops by Kirk and Ertz each, false starts, all the late hits on Goff(one a horrible call on Phillips), the bad snap by Garcia that hosed a drive, and the defense was pathetic. But at the end of the day if Kyler plays better we still have a chance.
