Why not (Suns) make a run for Bosh?

Sign and trade what?

I think he just means "trade" as I can't imagine Lebron would be happy if we shipped Bledsoe out right away. As for a possible Love trade, something like the Morris twins, Ennis and a couple of draft picks maybe with a probable third team involved (Toronto).

This is the problem with going after Love. It would cost the Suns more than money as AzStevenCal points out. It certainly weakens the Suns depth.

Honestly, depth is not as important as star power. if the Suns can get Love (Lebron or no Lebron), they gotta do it. It's easier to get depth than it is to get a top-10 or top-15 player, (wherever we want to put Love on that list.)

Yes, I was talking about an unlikely pairing of Lebron and Love. The Suns would be better going after another free agent than Love if Lebron came here because the Suns would have to give up major assets for Love... not that I would be against it if the Suns did not gut their roster.

He is from Texas and would fit right into their lineup.

I don't see how we can compete with that unless Houston does not offer the full max.

And then I would be scared to offer Bosh that. He was a happy role player the last 4 years. I have my doubts that he can just turn it on again.
Houston would maybe be happy with role player Bosh, we would want him to be a star for us.

Is Houston going to be happy paying role player Bosh the max? Is Bosh going to be happy being third fiddle again?

Yes he was. 3x 20+/10+ seasons including 24/11 in his last year.

I was never a fan though and some of those stats might be the result of padding on a bad team much like Love.

Not sure if he was, but based on this picture, he thinks he was.

Wow, that pic looks. . . not so manly. Trying to find a way to be politically correct.

Ok, I'm not sure if I'm more troubled by the pic or the fact he allowed it to be released to the public? What on earth does he see in that pic that makes him say, "sure print that baby and run with it!"?!?

Self-confidence? A sense of humor?

On a side note, Chris Bosh's listed height is a deception. He has about 10 inches of neck. His arms must be super long to have any standing reach at all.

Doesn't it seem like if LeBron leaves Bosh won't follow him to that same destination? If LeBron leaves it would seem to point to a total break up of Miami's big 3 to me.

If LeBron say came to PHX it would seem far more likely for Bosh to go home to Houston than to follow LeBron to the Suns.

That would put the Suns in some trouble with trying to get a 2nd star next to LeBron, which after all would seem to be the main selling point for LeBron coming here. Bledsoe would likely get maxed out or near maxed. With Bosh and Melo elsewhere, I'm not sure who else the Suns could get.

Loul Deng or Pau Gasol would be possibilities but they're hardly superstar types. Bledsoe might become one, but we don't know yet.

Hopefully the Suns have a deal w/ Minny for Love just waiting to be executed if LeBron signs, with the Suns knowing that Love would extend here to be w/ LBJ.
