I mean, Kelly gave them a gift wrapped double play that Marte whiffed....and then he throws one away. Could and should have been out of the inning with 0 runs. Most of the hits have been dinks.

The pitching was fantastic last year. The entire staff fell off a cliff.
I just saw the play where Marte tried to catch the ball off to his left and missed. I was always taught to get in front of the ball and it would hit me if I missed. I guess my coaches thought I wouldn’t be missed if I was hurt.

I really hate the 2 disengagement rule. It's way too limiting and a balk is too steep of a penalty on it.

Defense is supposed to be a strength but in the name of offense guys like Pavin Smith are playing RF, where they simply can't.
There are no roles in the bullpen. The lineup is constantly in flux due to injuries and manager feelings. Add in a bunch of injuries and this team has just never settled in despite the long season
