Great high efficient game.

Listening to the coverage it seems that Drew and Kyler are still figuring each other out. So that means the upside is high.

2 of the last 3 games show how good this passing game can be. Let’s hope it continues after the bye. I still think this team needs a true speed threat to unlock the offense (where its top 5 status)
This is absolutely true.

I want a burner like Xavier Worthy.

Hope I'm wrong, but I think Kyler and the recievers are going to struggle against this Jets team. They have the talent. I don't know if it's the play calling, the lack of chemistry, the receivers not being able to beat one-on-one coverage, Kyler not adjusting ( or his lack of faith in the receivers, except Trey Mcbride), but something seems off. It looked like MHJ started catching with his hands finally but the last game showed that wasn't the case. I hope I'm wrong and will gladly admit it but, this seems like an NFL trap game.
It just seems like one of those weekends where on Monday, all of the NFL talking heads are saying how the Jets are right back in it and the NFC WEST is still wide open.
Boy was I WRONG ! ! ! And I'm Happy to say it LOL ! ! !

Do we truly need one though? I’d argue we need a YAC threat before a speedster. Is our best WR YAC threat…Dortch?

Trey and MHJ with a speedster on the field would be scary. They would have so much more space. The more realistic option might have been Jacob Cowing.

Don't think they'll spend money on a WR. However, I wouldnt hate Darius Slayton on the Cards next year if his market dries up or if the Giant stink just tanks his value.

You're not wrong. However, I think MHJ has a better chance of improving his YAC/getting stronger. Wilson also improving in that area as well.

I'm not sure either would just outright win with speed (consistently).

Dortch ran a 4.52 40. He's shifty, not a burner, so that would be the guy. But I'd argue McBride is our YAC guy.

For fun, 40 times.
McBride - 4.53
MHJ - 4.42
Micheal Wilson - 4.58
Xavier Weaver - 4.47
Zay Jones - 4.45

Fasted Cardinal is a CB.
STV - 4.38

One of the best part of all of this is maybe everyone was right.

Maybe...

He was always elite level talent

Maybe...

He worked hard at working out but needed to work more at reading defenses.

Maybe...

The talent was deficient and he needed to elevate the talent

Maybe...

He was hyper accurate but could improve

Maybe...

He was churlish when he was younger but learned how to communicate better.

My own:

Maybe he was an average QB you could win with but is becoming a franchise QB you will win with.

I agree with all this but K1 was never average.

He was elevating a below average franchise that looked average because of him.
