If the conversation is “who’s having a good season but not in the running for MVP,” you are correct.

He’s not close to Lamar, Josh Allen, or Patrick Mahomes (who is undefeated so far).

So the award will be given based on performance through week 10, got it.

It would be very hard to win the award without getting meaningful national exposure while only leading the NFL in a fake stat like QBR.

Is he more deserving than Lamar, Josh Allen, Goff, or Mahomes?

He can be real good without being an MVP candidate.

I don’t. I think it’s a combination of Kyler not being a rhythm passer and wanting to see guys come open that makes it difficult to get YAC on downfield passes.
So, why do we barely call WR screens?

We need to have a separate thread about whatever is going on with Mahomes. He kind of sucks this year.

Waiting for those dudes to show back up to the thread.

You guys are still welcome to the debate thread.

Kyler was great today, no doubt.

I'm not sure though why it's difficult to understand that he was not good 3, 4, 5 or 6 games ago and rightly got criticism for it. I'm glad he's getting better as the season goes on.

It's like going to a michelin star restaurant and you meat turns up raw, your potatoes are burnt and your veggies are rotten. Are you going to say "Well it's got 2 Michelin stars so it must be good" or are you going to say "This food is terrible"?

When he's great I will say he is great.

Lamar already won MVP. He'd have to get hit by a bus to not win it from here.

After Lamar I think it's a pretty meh field. Josh Allen is getting a lot of love but he'd not been as good as last year IMO. Mahomes has been poor, Stroud is hit and miss. Burrow has probably been the 2nd best QB in the league but his team sucks. Goff is in the conversation but nowhere near Lamar.

History shows you have to win 12+ games to win the MVP

When should we trade or release him?

Hard to debate- Kyler gets an A++ today. That throw to MHJ in the end zone was magic. What he did on his feet just seemed unfair.

I’ve been a hater- but I asked for one thing- consistency and he has absolutely been doing that. He keeps playing like this and I’ll be a total convert.
That right there has been the key for me, too. I wanted him to be consistent, and he has been consistently good. Yesterday, he was absolutely nails. Freaking awesome! Good for him--and good for us! And he now owns the franchise record for most consecutive completions.

retribution ASFN is peak ASFN
So is advocating to jettison a franchise QB after coming off a injury and a new scheme.

K1 has had way more good games than bad and to paint it any other way is just being entrenched in your bias.

“Let’s get rid of K1 so we can get better.”

#2 QB in the NFL right now by QBR. Then take into account his rushing totals and TD. We can close the thread. Kyler is our QB.

You must be registered for see images attach
QBR is meaningless just ask the Never Murrays

He's been really good since getting DHOP.
No doubt.

Mahomes lost his #1 Wr for the year and people are wondering what is wrong with the guy. He gets DHop who is a good not great WR and all of a sudden Mahomes looks good again.
