    I know the feeling. I lived just north of you in Redondo Beach, in the 80's, and I got crap from the Laker fans then, because the Suns could never get past the Lakers. But, I got revenge when ASU beat USC and UCLA, at their stadiums, on their way to the Rose Bowl, I let them have it for awhile.

    I'm not believing in this report. They have the Eagles and Cards playing here at 11 o'clock on 12/9, and they have the Bucs playing one home game out of the first six weeks. I'll wait for the NFL to release their version.

    I would, but I would need to find pictures for the 139 championships here in Phoenix, but I'll try and work on that for you. For the record: ASU - 133, Rattlers - 2, Roadrunners - 2, Diamondbacks - 1 (2 counting 2008), and Mercury - 1. I didn't count the ones won by teams that don't play anymore...

    I'm also not feeling sorry for Laker fans and all the injuries that have happened to that team. Being a Suns fan for over 30 years and all the misfortune that has come to them, maybe the "sports gods" are telling the Lakers, "It's your time for some injuries to multiple players and at a bad time...

    CARDS "Mock-Draft" on ESPN tomorrow...

    That will be great when this happens, but I remember when ESPN had to talk about the Dbacks winning the World Series over the Yankees. I'm sure there were a lot of pissed off employees at ESPN who had to deal with that in the off-season, and that was a very satisfying period of time in my life.

    1998- Last week of the season. Cards had to beat San Diego to get the last wild card. If the Cards lost, Tampa Bay would have secured that spot.

    Phoenix gets All Star game in '09

    Outstanding! I remember the previous two we hosted, especially in '95, the NBA experience and all the festivities were awesome. As far as the MLB all-star game, I don't know if it will ever be played here. Miami, Tampa Bay and Phoenix have never hosted it and I'm guessing it hasn't happened...
