    Pretty sure he said he didn't rule it out. He wants BA to find the best combination of OL.. meaning Brown playing OG is still a possibility if we get someone who can play LT better.

    But he's not a high draft pick. He's a 7th round draft pick. There's a reason he was taken so low. So unless he can take on Aldon Smith 1 on 1 with no help... he will continue to be doubted.

    Jake Long is a 4x Pro Bowl Left Tackle during the 5 years he's been in the NFL. I don't support over paying him, but now that he's hitting the market he will see how much he's really worth. Let him heal and he will be a huge upgrade for our OL.

    Yep. We're not in the position to be grabbing projects in the 1st round either. If we were playoff contenders like the 49ers, Seahawks, or Patriots. Sure. But we have holes to fill before that ever happens.

    Ansah is an athletic freak who has only 9 starts under his belt. It will probably take years for him to transition into the NFL, if at all. He's a little too raw at #7 IMO.

    No reason to take a QB in round 2 when he can get much much much better talent in next years draft. Beef up the OL with that pick or get a pass rusher.

    The best franchises do this all the time. Look at the Ravens with Ed Reed and the Packers with Charles Woodson. I would hate seeing AW go, but it's a business.
