    2017 Cardinal FAs

I won't go through the full list, but the folks I think we need to keep are: 1. Chandler Jones. We will likely dust off the Franchise Tag. 2. Calais Campbell. Still a top dog and team leader. Plus Nkemd and Gunter aren't consistent enough to replace him. 4 year deal (voidable after 2)...

    Making the Playoffs

They are all playoff games at this point, but if we can somehow win our next two, that game in Seattle is going to be something.

    OT: MNF Jets v Colts

Jets owner is a flake. I wouldn't put it past him to fire Todd just to make "fans" happy. Personally, I was surprised Bowles took the job, but there is no doubting the cash, prestige, and limited availability of opportunities factored into the decision. We won't demote/cut Betcher for Bowles...

If Cards Coach and front office would have gotten their way....

DJ has averaged 59 yards/game thus far this year. He needs to average 74 yards/game the rest of the way. To have a shot, he needs to rack up a big cushion against Miami and N.O. as yards will be hard to come by in LA and Seattle. I hope he gets it. I believe the team is absolutely going to...

Welcome Back, Drew Butler; Quigley Cut

Butler was not placed on IR. He was cut and given an injury settlement. Any team could have signed him at any time. Given he's one of the worst punters in the league... Cardinals took the chance that he'd remain available later on if they wanted to bring him back. Most players wont accept...

That's quality right there. Just about spit my drink out. Nicely played.

Welcome Back, Drew Butler; Quigley Cut

Not a surprise. I called this a couple of weeks ago. Quigley was ranked dead last among active punters.

    Antron Retires

one of my favorites... Missing Camp defines what a sin is, Yet Antrel insists it's just Bizness, After reporting too late, and badly out of shape, He played more like a pick from McGinnis.

    OT: Norv Turner resigns

Not Quite. Bob Ferguson was our GM though 2002. I think the Wikipedia bio on RG is incorrect.

    Steve Keim's Title

    Comparing Butler 2015 with Quigley 2016: Butler Avg = 42.9 y/p Quigley Avg = 41.3 y/p Butler Long = 58 Quigley Long = 55 Butler % inside 20 = 36.7% Quigley % inside 20 = 43.3 % BTW, Quigley's 41.3 average ranks him dead last in the NFL this year, by 2 yards. My analysis... they both suck...

    BA challenges and coaching today

According to Wolfley... replay equipment in both Carolina and NY were out of service. Neither location was able to review the "fumble" so it stood as called on the field.

Yea, I have to agree. I think somewhere, Leonard Davis was shaking his head at their performance in Carolina.

The officiating was so bad, NFL even forgot to shut off the Cards radio feed. I got to listen to Pasche and Wolfly for a change.

Cam Newton Blasts Refs After Win

I thought the low hit was a textbook penalty for hitting the QB at the knees. Stunned it didn't get called. Cam has nothing to stand on relating to the head-shot he took down the field diving forward for more yardage. That was a clean play. He doesn't like it, learn to slide feet.

Richard Sherman vs. Bruce Arians - round 1

    A. Butler signed after 2014 season began, so folks have only been calling for his head for 2 years. B. Butler is injured, recovering from an achilles issue. We tried carrying him on the roster, but ultimately needed the space. We will bring him back once he is healed. C. Amos has been...

x2. Amazing game. Frustrating result. 1. The Floyd drop sucked. I think he is going to get vastly over-payed by someone else this off season. Curious to see who Keim finds to replace him. My lasting memory of him is the TD catch in Seattle a couple years ago. Over-all though...

Sagging NFL TV ratings leave owners scrambling for answers

I'm just busier right now. I don't miss Cardinal games, but I pretty much have to wait until after kids go to bed to see them. It's a rare, when I can sit down and channel surf through the Sunday Ticket lineup. When it does happen, I'm usually interrupted within 30 minutes.

    MNF 10/17: Roof closed tonight

Seems to me it's louder with the roof closed. I've never understood this complaint. Open it for neutral site venues, concerts, monster truck pulls, etc... For home Cardinal games, close that puppy up and increase the decibels when the Defense is on the field.

    Cards offensive system

I loved it when Gruden said, Cards wanted Abdulla in the 2nd last year but he got taken right in front of them. We ended up taking David Johnson in the 3rd, who is a budding star in the league. In 2008, Gruden wanted Deshawn Jackson but he was taken before Tampa picked. Gruden ended up taking...
