    And I think that in itself would piss a lot of players off - pay based on minutes played would make for a lot disgruntled players who sit at or near the end of the bench, especially for teams that aren't winning.

    That system would be more broken than the current one. Team basketball in the NBA would suffer tremendously, as players would play more selfishly to get better stats to justify higher minutes, and thus a higher salary. It would be a league of Allen Iverson-minded players.

    Where is Sean Williams? He's a young, athletic foward with natural shot blocking skills. The Nets released him in January, and he's been playing international ball since... I wouldn't mind seeing the Suns sign him for training camp fodder.

    The Suns best asset in the Hornets eyes is J-Rich's expiring contract. If the Suns ever had a chance at legitimately landing CP3, it would start there. That said, we're not one of the teams on Paul's list, so it makes it even that much more doubtful.

    :thumbup: Of course, highly unlikely. West's salary is way too reasonable for the production he brings - I think, if we call up the Hornets, they'll be much more likely to push for us to take Okafor.
