    i agree he destroyed the offense. But again, his job was to get the team focused on defense. Not many coaches in the league could make a run and gun offense work in combination with Shaq in the post. It's not an easy thing to do.

    exactly. we can't fault the guy who gives his all and falls short in one aspect of the game. If i gave my 100%, i wouldn't be a good defender either. that's just the way it goes.

    wrong. he's been an mvp for his offensive game and for the fact that he was the best leader in the league. Dirk was even given mvp based almost entirely on his offensive game. We can't hold someone as old as Nash accountable for defense now. We knew he was a terrible defender when we signed him...

    the two of them together only average 11 points a game from 3 point land. why on earth would we focus on that ? there will be much bigger fish to fry if the suns plan on staying in the game.

    The most viable options would be moore who was already waived and Smith who may or may not be waived/bought-out. Unfortunately, both have been linked to Boston, Cleveland, and L.A. They'll want to go to contenders, and Phoenix isn't one. Especially without amar'e.
