    It was not at all clear that the ball touched the player. But if it did, it was BEFORE he stepped out of bounds. He clearly did not have the ball when he stepped on the line.

    I very much share your concern. The Cardinals running game has been poor for the longest time and it may be that we now know that the biggest problem has been the lack of a blocking tight end. Pope and Patrick have been here for awhile and neither showed that he is a decent blocker.

    I don't know what you are talking about. Edge was very supportive of Hightower and if he made such bad remarks, I did not see them. Did you see Fitz race up and hug Edge after he made a long run during the Seattle game? Whether you like him or not, the players do.

    Maybe someone here can explain to me why just about every running back we have used in the past few years has not been effective. Wasn't Thomas Jones here, Smith was here and now edge. Is it all the fault of the runningbacks? What I saw was very poor blocking by the O line.

    There were a few thousand tickets on Stubhub a couple of days ago and some were priced less than the regular price. I doubt there are any there now because of logistics in getting tickets delivered.

    We have not had an effective running game for several years in spite of having backs such as Thomas Jones, E Smith and James. Is there something about the Arizona weather that is an impediment to an O line that can block effectively for runs?

    Kicking was poor

    Our kicking was not good. One KO seemed like a pooch and came down about the 40. Punts were not good also. We gave the Niners good field position too often. Special teams were not that great also.

    Because the penalty was on the play where Romo spiked the ball at the 40, not the pass play that got them to the 40. But if it was on the previous play, wht wasn't it assessed at the end of the previous play - the spiking - when there was plenty of time with play stopped to assess the penalty?

    I agree with you. I am tired of people talking as though Warner is the only QB that throws interceptions in the NFL. Hopefully, Whiz will use preseason to get a better feel for what Matt can do. I think the verdict is still out as to how good he is.

    Sorry to rain on the parade But if the Cardinals make the playoffs, they have little chance of going anywhere. Many of the best players are injured and the residual simply is not good enough to go very far.
