    Cardinals 2006: Questions and Concerns

I still feel like we haven't seen our true running game yet. Edge has made no secret of the fact that he'd love to avoid preseason games and the injuries that come with them. Even with a shaky o. line, I think he's got the skills to move the ball. And, if we have any kind of true running game, I...

Cardinals | Green lashes out at Leinart

Mitch, I don't think you have a vendetta against Green. However, I think you're wrong about this being "egregious propoganda" and a bad way to do business. I'm glad that Green spoke out. This board -- and the Arizona sports community as a whole -- has frequently claimed that the Cards are...

    Harry Greene in frustration

This was a negative piece but, clearly, the work of someone that loves his team. Usually, I love to read what Harry writes. He's done some knockout stuff on this board. This wasn't a true Harry article: This was more of a Harry rant.

Tell me why we shouldn't be nervous with....

Be nervous, not worried. Our run blocking wasn't what it should have been, yeah, but things are gonna get better. One reason: We've got an Edge. It wasn't a real game, we didn't see the real Edge. He didn't want to be in the game, he called his presence obligatory, he was there to make an...

Steeler's owner Dan Rooney, on new stadium.

After the game, Rooney went on to add, "Kurt Warner was good today, I like him." But "...he's not as good as John Navarre."

    Davey

Even taking a knee, Davey looked out of shape.

    Wow, Navarre really sucks.

I've been a Navarre supporter since the beginning. I thought he showed flashes of talent and Green has always beenin his corner. But after today's game...man, what is the coach seein' in practice? Whatever it is, it wasn't here today. A disappointment on every level.

    Brain Starting to Regret

I'm guessing that you don't regret buying season tickets because the Cards haven't signed Leinart yet; I'm guessing that you believe that the failure to sign our QBOF so far means -- it's the same old Cardinals. New stadium, new RB, new hope, all diminished by the same old ownership and their...

    Mcginest trashes duane starks

Thanks for the post. When Starks arrived here, I had high hopes. It's nice to get a follow-up story.

Great post. Thanks for the article!

Anyone still think Leinart will be signed on time?

I'm with you, PACardsFan. If Warner goes down, I want to see Navarre step in. And I'd love to see him actually get to play for two or three complete games...just to see if he can do what Green says he can do. I keep hearing that Leinart is the Next Great QB but he hasn't proved it yet on this...

    What was last year's problem?

Injuries. No running game. Stupid penalties. We'll do better this year.

    Clippers better than Suns?

Better on paper only counts in Playstation. I loved the real life results!

    Clippers better than Suns?

That's what the LA Times writers say, anyway. In this today's paper, Bill Plaschke wrote: Statistically, the Clippers were supposed to lose this game, as 82% of the road teams these situations do. But hopes were higher because, after 21 years of papering Los Angeles with losses — only one...

Who heads into camp as potential K/P Returners?

I wanna see the Rabbit run. We haven't had a good kick returner since...uh, have we ever had a consistent kick returner?

Dave Ragone released by HOU - should we pick him up?

I say, keep Navarre. He knows the system and Green likes him (almost enough to play him in real games).

Is Favre being selfish?/Breaking News: Favre To Return In '06

Green Bay has a king and his name is Favre. And, like all kings, he does what he wants when he wants...and, yes, he's being selfish.

    LenDale White will drop

I wanted the Cards to draft White. Then I didn't want 'em to draft White because we got the Edge. Now I'm very, very, very happy that we're looking in other directions.

Fitz tired of losing - (good article)

Thanks for the article. I loved it, loved Fitzgerald's attitude, except for -- "The fans here are so used to losing." No. Absolutely not. The fans are used to bleeding Cardinal red while supporting a losing team but has Fitz ever come to this message board? There's anger, tears, and mountains...

    No way Green takes Cutler

I think you underestimate Cutler. I'd love it if we signed him. But, hype or not, there's no way that Cutler falls to #10. I think he's gone at #3. Personally, I'd like to see more of Navarre but I don't think the Cards trust him as their back-up QB. Yeah, I know that Green says he likes...

Here's what Lion fans are saying about McCown

Thanks for the link. Lions fans seem mixed...to put it lightly...over the signing. Nobody doin' handsprings over it. I'm glad to see McCown signed 'cause it's gonna give us a chance to see if he was a keeper or not. I hated that the Cards let Plummer walk. Not so sad that McCown has strolled away.
  23. R

    McCown to the Lions?

Hope to see you in Phoenix, Arvos. Look forward to meeting you at the new Stadium. The guys on the board have nailed it: Josh McCown is a tease. He's athletic, he can move, he's got an arm, and he's got enthusiasm and heart. There are times that you'll think...man, he's almost there. The...

With the 10th Pick in the 2006 Draft, The Arizona Cardinals Select.......

You think Vince Young will still be around at the 10 spot? In a NY Times article yesterday, the Jets moaned over falling to #4 in the draft order...because that meant that they wouldn't get a chance to draft Bush, Leinart or Young. Me, I'd like to see LenDale White at #10 (if he declares)...

Who should start now that Warner is out?

Start Navarre. Why would Green showcase McCown when is all but gone? Weak effort to pump up his win/loss numbers?
