Saw this on the Athletic and thought it was funny. Not often do you see trades involving lottery picks and max players result in nothing.

Man that 2018 draft was something else

Doncic, Jaren Jackson, Trae Young, Sexton, Mikal, SGA, Miles Bridges, Porter Jr, DiVencenzo, Grayson Allen, and Brunson.

I like Xavier Tillman. He goes to the Celtics. Two second round picks is a cheap price to pay.

that's a nice get for a team that's already got decent size.

The Suns would probably rather trade players than waive them if possible, especially because some of their players have options and they would need to create roster spots.

There are others still trying to figure out the Celtics trade for Tillman.

Second round picks have value in the new NBA.

Actually, they did before if a team knew how to use them.

The Timberwolves are trading for Monte Morris, another player I like.

I can't beleive Knox is still in the league. He is awful, absolutely awful.

It's wild how many horrible players that Pistons team has.

I am glad Monty got that bag of cash because this team is going to kill his future head coaching gigs.

I thought he was completely burned out at the end of last season. I figured he'd take a TV job or just sit out a year or 2 before looking to get back into coaching.

Detroit threw stupid money at him though. He still looks burned out when I've seen him, nothing like the positive, confident guy we saw 2+ years ago.

.
@Lorenzo
He’s been balling of late. his minutes have increased with Irving out of the lineup, but he still played a lot last night with Irving in as that game was close down the stretch. After the game last night people were talking about how KD, Irving, and the beard guy only played 16 games with the nets. I’m noticing that Luka and Irving rarely play together as well. And the Mavericks will probably continue that trend to keep them both fresh for the playoffs but at what cost does that hurt team chemistry? I still think Dallas have to make trades to improve their defense to have any chance of winning in the playoffs.

The Mavericks and Hornets are reportedly in trade talks regarding PJ Washington.

If the Pelicans could acquire both Murray and Onyeka Okongwu from the Hawks without giving up too much, that would be a coup.
