Thus far this draft, BASK seems to have gotten 'their man' with each pick. While their board is obviously not a match with the draft gurus, who knows at this point if they are on the money, or off-base.

Given the fact that they had real success last year, and that they worked so hard to use free agency to fill holes so that there was no glaring need for this draft, it would appear that each pick so far this draft is a very good fit, and meshes very well with their plan. After all, they are drafting for the Cardinals, (not the 'Niners, or the Hawks).

Prior to the draft, many here were saying that they hoped that BASK would stay true to their board and take BPA at each selection. They seem to have done exactly that, taking the BPA for them, (not for anyone else). I will not fault them for having done so. After all, there are vast years of experience on this coaching staff, and a consensus with the scouting department on what will satisfy 'the plan'. They seem to be doing just that with each selection. Based on their past performance, they should be given the chance to put it to work.

Mayock likes the Cardinals draft quite a bit. He said that it hasn't been sexy, but that he really likes our draft.

Most teams base ratings on a numbers system. Typical QB rating include production, accuracy, spatial awareness and ball security to name a few. Different teams have different categories and levels of complexity. I'm saying its hard to believe in any system I've seen that he could accumulate enough points. He would get points for athleticism, physical makeup and his arm, but I can't see him being on top. Yes you can teach accuracy, but field vision, spatial awareness and anticipation are much harder if not impossible to teach.

I played back both the NFL & ESPN, no one said he liked to lead. This is not the same thing as wanting to play QB because you don't want to admit failure. Name me one good QB who resisted the chance to be the QB. I don't think he has the right passion for the position.

Can he catch? Yes, he was a really good TE.

All this is not a lack of faith in BA. It's not even funny what a breath of fresh air and talent he brings to the job. I'm sure he wants this for himself, VT & the Cards. I just think it's a bridge too far and the Cards need every bit of help they can get to make the playoffs.

Finally, the point of these boards is for people to provide their opinions. All the draft shows are the same thing. They could go back to the old days if this wasn't what fans want. I'm fine with people disagreeing with me, but everyone is welcome to have an opinion.

That is exactly how I feel about it. It destroys everything Justin Timberlake worked so hard for, but it's solid and attacks the weaknesses in our very good team directly.

If you don't trust Arians' judgment on this, to me, that means you wish the Cards' had a different coach already. BA personally worked LT out. Must think he can fix him.

This. Also wouldn't be surprised if he gave him some pointers and saw some immediate improvement. If that is the case then it just comes down to reps to get rid of bad habits.

Mayock is the best draft analyst on a TV. I also like Casserly. I agree with Mayock on this draft except for this pick. Time will prove one of us correct.

Just because some disagree with BA doesn't mean we want another coach.

All I know is this, every QB BA has been successful with was a 1st rounder, so IMO the odds in him performing a miracle are slightly better than zero.

Name another QB whom he developed into a quality NFL starter after the 3rd round?

Casserly is my second favorite - I'd be curious as to what he thinks about our draft.
