I am very much hoping we spark the rookie wall for Stroud and the collapse of the Texans season

Stroud has been nothing short of sensational, but his last two eye opening games have been against 2 of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. He lit up TB & the Bucs pass defense is ranked 31st in passing yards per game. And Cincinnati’s pass D was ranked 25th.

The Cardinals pass D has been steadily improving & is now ranked 11th in passing yards per game. And I feel confident that JG will conjure up a scheme that will at least slow Stroud down some. I expect this to be a awesome game & will go down to the wire.

With two stars, Burrow and Andrews, going down, last night, with injuries you never know how the season will play out. But as of now it looks to me that if we win on Sunday, we'll end up with a top ten pick. If we lose, a top five pick.

Burrow so fragile. His nickname should be Glass Joe

Unworthy of his "superstar" NFL status bestowed upon him by some.
Yeah the kid is so fragile, yet he came out and played several games through a severe calf injury that could have led to an Achilles tear similar to what Aaron Rodgers did. Your take is fragile on this one.

Oof! CW got served folks! haha..

Perhaps he's tough (he can play through injuries), but that doesn't change the fact that he still gets knicked up a lot.

Maybe if Glass Joe Burrow could play in bubble wrap he could win the MVP someday. haha. :)

Looks like 11 to me.
What you wrote was 100% correct - 11th in yards per game. But 4th in fewest attempts against, thus 21st in yards per attempt against, which I think is a more accurate measure of how good the D is vs. the pass. It's just that they're so bad vs. the run, opponents don't bother passing much.

The Napoleon Complex about Joe Burrow is kinda comical.

Ok. You say tomato, I say tomato. One thing is undeniable. Our pass D has improved a bunch once we inserted the trio of Williams, Budda, and Thompson into the lineup. And Houston struggles a TON to run the ball, so they will lean heavily on the pass. So, even our weak run D won’t be exposed in this game. Even with a below average defensive roster, JG generally does an outstanding job of taking away what an offense does best. Especially since the trio I mentioned above came back. And it would look even better if not for the BS PI’s they love to call on us.

The Napoleon Complex from the biggest of the Murray supporters about Joe Burrow is kinda unhinged.
The irony is also not lost on me how many on this board used Burrow coming back to start his 2nd season, following his ACL injury, as a way to question why Murray was taking longer to be ready to go.

18th in yards per rush so actually better than pass
