We do know. Larry said it wasn't true.

Just to be clear. Larry said he never had a problem with a team mate.

This isn't the same thing as "Kyler has a good work ethic and studies film". It simply means Larry never saw it as his role to be pissed at a team mate for not living up to his standards on film study and work ethic.

I think fans are guilty of thinking of Fitz as some kind of player/coach. You would often see things said like "X WR had issues at X team but Larry will help fix that" which was crap really. Like just being in Larry's presence would magically change the players character.

More than likely Larry never had a problem with Kyler because he didn't see it as his job to police his work ethic. That doesn't mean they were buddies though.

We already know from Hump that Larry ignored him his whole rookie season because of work ethic issues. Larry isn't going to beef with you, he's just going to ignore you and get on with his own thing.

....except Larry came out of nowhere to say it's not true. He didn't have to say anything, he really could have just let the rumors speak for themselves.

When I listen to the radio guys, it seems to me that they have very limited knowledge on what's actually going on with the Cardinals.
I guess Larry’s good friend Greg Jennings has no idea what went on with the Cards and is a liar too...

“They’ve created this problem,” Jennings told The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Tuesday. “It was good friend Larry Fitzgerald … I remember sitting down and talking to him and asking him about Kyler. (Fitzgerald) said one of the things he felt was that they rolled out the red carpet too soon. Too soon for a young guy. They gave (Murray) everything that he wanted, anything — he had free reign, and it started to show in his personality and how he carried himself.”

Or maybe when there’s this much smoke, maybe, just maybe there’s a little fire too. And a class act like Larry tries to put it out because he feels bad that he talked some smack about the kid and it got out.

Or you can keep believing that one of the biggest competitors in the history of the game never had one issue with a single teammate in 30 years of play.

This in no way proves that Larry had a problem with him.

Does anybody honestly think Fitz would have stayed with the Cards his entire career, if he had any beefs with the players or organization? It's just dumb to think so. Larry Sr is closer to Fitz's brother, in terms of personality.

Captain America doesn't miss all of Avengers: Endgame then come in at the last second to crushed by Thanos at the end of the movie.

it's idiotic to expect Watt to be a factor for more than 7-8 games next season... if he lasts that long.
If only the Cards were good enough to put him on a pitch count.

Exactly. As dysfunctional as this team has been for most of Fitz's career he could have easy had some if he were that kinda cat.

I don’t think a player beef would matter one iota really. Doesn’t matter who the player is Fitz is going to win that. All that mattered to fitz was the money and for the large majority of his career he was the highest paid highest earning wide receiver in NFL history. The organization made him feel special and he was.

very mixed feelings on Amari Cooper

likely as a result of having him on my fantasy team a couple years where he would disappear for long stretches of the season

not sure whats up there

Here are Kirk's rankings from 2021 Season:

39th in Targets
24th in Catches
27th in Yards
46th in YPC
T40th in TD's

In no way, shape or form should he be paid top 20 contract. Also, 2021 was his 1st season that he actually stayed healthy and played in every game.

Buh bye. Of course Kyler will probably fall on the ground kicking and crying to keep his Buddy so he’ll be a Cardinal next year.
FA WR always seem to be the most overpaid players on the market every year.

I been saying $12m for months. Anyone who thinks this is too much is living in 2014.

People here were saying Curtis Samuel was good value at $11m per year last year and Kirk has better career stats.
