Championship!xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Could have had him for less than that on a multi year deal last year if we had a competent GM.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
I'll bite the bullet and say I was wrong to be happy we let him walk last year. I'd like us to bring him back for sure.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Thanks for the memories. Good luck wherever you land Mr. Jones.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Yeah but even last year we expected a big market for him then he end up signing with the Panthers for 1 year deal 8 milCould have had him for less than that on a multi year deal last year if we had a competent GM.
We blew it with this kid last year. This ain’t happening.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Probably so, but money talks and now Kiem will have to pay more than ever to win him over.We blew it with this kid last year. This ain’t happening.

Why would he want to come back after the way they treated him in AZ?xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
A lot less…Could have had him for less than that on a multi year deal last year if we had a competent GM.
I know nothing about him, but how smoothly he transited from the initial inside push to pick up the stunt is just impressive. I also like his punch, very strong and balanced. We could bring Aboushi back. He's been solid since he left us (wasn't bad when here considering).
Then cut Pugh and draft a guard for LG. You should save $5m of so on the difference between Pugh and Aboushi.

Have to admit, I was on the not-sign-him-for-big-contract side the last offseason, especially the expected cost was being mentioned as about $12million per. I was afraid of him being a one-year wonder either. Despite his strong performance this past season, I still don't want Cardinals to sign him. Price is too high for us considering our cap situation, Golden is still a much better option from the cost vs production perspective. Here's what you may get for the speculated $17m:

And here's what we have for $2m ($3.9 Cap hit in 2022)

Number of reasons. Maybe they didn't feel he could play in 4-3, he was a 1 year wonder, he's not prototypical size for 3-4 OLB. He made a lot of GM's regret doubting him I'm sure. Keim saw what he could do after ARZ misused him his first 3 years at a position he never played in college and let him go. Yeah, Golden is cheaper but ARZ could have resigned Reddick and Golden and had a trio of pass rushers at OLB.Then why didn't one of the 'competent' GMs do it?
Look at the career stats too. Here's what you may get for the speculated $17m:

But CAR only paid $8.5M for what they got which was a bargain. Here's what you may get for the speculated $17m:
