He followed up a great game by a stinker. Followed by a great game against the Hawks. Let's see if he break the cycle today.

It's a small sample size but I'd say Beal's stock has increased over the last week. He's shown an adaptability, leadership, sacrifice, and that he still has it. He'll need to keep it up but if he can then I have zero doubt we can find a taker by the end of the month.

I think the biggest issue is his availability.

Next his fit when he starts the game with Jones and Booker.

I agree with you but some of these star players have a big ego.

To them coming off the bench is a demotion. Look at Dirk, Kobe, Nash and such. Before they retired they could have played a couple more years coming off the bench, less minutes and being productive in that role.
With the Diamondbacks we fans wanted Randy Johnson to prolong his career as a closer. His mindset was, "I am a starter. Not a guy who sits around and waits to pitch." Decades later it took for his mindset to change, and he admitted in an interview he should have played longer as a closer. Sometimes it is ego coupled with the mindset you have.

I keep forgetting that Beal is "only" 31. He's just three years older than Book. Why does it feel like Beal has been around forever?

Good question! And as much as Beal didn't like it, this move has been the right move and elevated him and the Suns thus far.

is it beal running with the bench? or the riddance of nurk? maybe the rookies creating chaos? I think it's a little bit of everything - but it still isn't enough

Trades need to be made. Rebounding and defense. Coach needs some ball handling and passing drills until those turn overs come down. If we aren't giving them offensive rebounds, we are handing them turn overs.

This would be like getting TWO christmases this year if we can hold onto our first round pick. The bad thing, is I am seeing little clips where the Beal family REALLY love PHX. I have never been to Milwaukee. Would one go there over living in PHX? From a player's standpoint, any team with Giannis is always an outside chance to get to the finals and their fanbase is rabid! I just don't know if Mrs Beal and family want to move there.

Say Milwaukee just wants him straight up for their salary match trash they send back, and we keep our pick, lord forbid they throw in a second or two our way, I am all in! As long as those contracts are up soon, or small enough to waive/trade to other teams. If we get a serviceable player out of the mix, that's just gravy. No picks involved either way, Beal for trash guys, I still do it! That's accelerates the rebuild faster. Then you have an option of not extending KD if you don't want to. Aprons away....

Please basketball gods, you owe Phoenix for all the coin flips, etc that have gone against us!

I wanted to dismiss this report, but I do recall the Bucks wanting to trade for Beal before he got traded to the Suns. If I remember correctly, he rejected it.

They were interested but I don’t think a deal was agreed to in principle because Beal said don’t bother. I just can’t fathom the Wizards not only giving him that contract but adding a NTC. They also gave John Wall a super max that aged how you’d expect. More proof that owners willing to spend isn’t always a good thing.

Suns fans need to be better. This is more embarrassing than the douchebag who counted cash along side the Giannis FT timer.

While Bradley Beal was dropping 20 points off the bench in the Phoenix Suns‘ 119-109 win against the Washington Wizards on Saturday, a Suns fan spent the majority of their night heckling him.

Beal couldn’t hear what was being said, but his wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, and their kids were within earshot.

It got so bad that Adams-Beal sent the kids away in the third quarter to get away from the consistent barrage of insults. But in the fourth quarter, when their children had returned, the fan allegedly shouted, “Trade this bum ass b***h Beal for Jimmy Butler!”
