Thanksgiving night game at the Eagles. Woohoo!!!!

I hate the NFL. Once again they screw me. This is the year to knock The Linc of my list and to do it, I have to upset my family by missing Thanksgiving dinner, and then have to deal with ignorant Iggles fans who've had all day to get liquored up. Iggles fans are bad enough at 1pm...8:15pm ought to be ugly.

Stupid NFL!!!!!

man-- I thought the new stadium meant the days of starting 3 out of 4 on the road were over--

never the less -- I like playing teams with coaching or coordinator changes early (SF, Wash and Miami). At SF and At Jets are two winnable road games. I just dont have a feel for Wash yet (although last year suggests it may be winnable).

The October schedule is tough. Getting the Bills at home is winnable, but the other two are tough.

November gets worse. The two divisional games to start help, but then @Sea, NY G at home, and a short week trip across the country to play the Eagles. Ugh.

December finishes easier (a trip to NE in December aside), but SEA at home is hardly a gimmee.

The good news is that if the team puts itself in position to win the division -- the game that could decide it will be at home on Dec 28.

THe cards get the shaft from the schedulers more than anyother team in history. It got to stop. I think we need to have a massive letter writing campaign to the league office.

I dont know, it looks more like 8-8 again to me.

Eagles
Giants
Redskins
Cowboys
Patriots

Could all be losses.

Carolina is never easy for us.

Thank god we dont play IN buffalo for once...
I'm not scared to play good teams. The Cards play better. Unfortunatly we play like crap sometimes vs the crappy teams.

Look what the Giants did last year when they played the Pats on a Thurs. night.

We have the same amount of national TV games as NE not too shabby and one more than Sea. Hopefully we wont blow leads in these two games like our past 2 national TV games

Aren't they all??? Better than Cowboy or Raider fans. Although, those fans have never booed Santa. Should be a great experience and I hope CardsfanMd will be there as well.

I had hoped to play Dallas near the end of the season. That way maybe one of us wouldn't have anything to play for and the emotions wouldn't be as elevated.

Cowboys fans will be everywhere. Not that that helps the other team win.

as always, I think the cards need to start the season winning 3 of those first 5 roadies or they will be in serious peril.

How do you figure?

3 of last 4 at home, and only playing one team coming off a bye (Whiners in week 10).

The teams are already set. I'd rather play Washington and the Jets before the snow flies. Not bad all-in-all.

My problem with that is this team always seems to start slow and end well. So the more home games in the beggining the better IMO. The team has earned at least the right to have 2 of first 3 at home.

5 East Coast Trips...including a back to back.

The Cards have to go 2-3 in those trips if they're going to make the post season. The AZCardinals.com story says that Whis might just keep the team on the East Cost for that week between Washington and Philly (or whatever). That would be a fantastic idea.

Wash and Jets

I also think it is a good idea

gets em ready for the concept of Superbowl week as well!

Other than the year where they play the AFC West teams --

at least four trips into the Eastern time zone is the norm unfortunately.

I think they can play the NFC Central, AFC Central, AFC West and AFC South and limit the number of east-coast roadies they have to take. It's just really problematic that this season we play the AFC East and the NFC East.

I'd be happier if we were playing the Cowboys in Dallas and either Philly or Washington in Phoenix.

There's nothing you can do when you play against the AFC East, unless you hope for a late-season game in Miami, where the weather, at least, won't be as big a factor.

3 of the first 4 on the road is total horse s***, IMO. Wasn't the new stadium supposed to prevent that from happening every year?

I see another 8-8 year at this point.

Having to work with going to the east coast most the time since it is our turn to play the NFC and AFC east teams I think it is a pretty decent schedule considering what we had to work with from the beginning.

While length of travel is an issue, I always consider the time change--

Detroit in the NFC Central (now the North), Balt, Clev, Cincy Pitt in the AFC North (what used to be the Central), and Jax (AFC South) are all on Eastern Time

odds are -- the team is just going to get at least 4 trips with a 3 hour time change
