Unless the pick we get back is from a higher round than the one we gave up..
And the chances of that being the case are about as goo as you finding to pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Unless the pick we get back is from a higher round than the one we gave up..
We didn't know we gave up a 7th to get a 6th until days before the draft. But we knew we were getting a pick.
The possibility that the pick we get back is worse than the one we picked up makes me want to hurl.Unless the pick we get back is from a higher round than the one we gave up..
Seriously? This organization has always taken forever to let the details come out in trades. Heck we didn't know what we were getting from the AJ Jefferson trade until right before the draft almost a year later.
Knew right away when they traded Boldin, if I remember right. Same for Thomas Jones.
UPDATE: According to the NFL transactions list released by the league, the Cardinals and Steelers swapped “unannounced” draft picks in the deal — meaning in addition to getting Brown, the Cards also sent a pick to the Steelers, while the Steelers sent a pick to the Cards. The details of what went where are unknown. And I’m sure it still has to do with some sort of playing time condition.
Woo hoo.From AZCardinals website:
We'll know when we know.
It seems like standard operating procedure for teams to not divulge the conditions on conditional picks. When it comes out it usually seems like someone leaked it. Not sure why teams are tight lipped about the conditions, maybe they don't want the players that are being traded to know the conditions? Really not sure.I also like how Keim/Arians are supposed to be a "new regime", but people expect us to accept when they act like previous regimes did (even though the old regime would tell us when returns from trades seemed to suit them).
Woo hoo.
I gotta think that since we did them a favor and absorbed so much cap space, they are compensating us for our trouble. Right?
RIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT???????
This is the Cardinals right? You know this right?
Maybe, maybe not.I just keep thinking this is no longer the Rod Graves Cardinals and hope that means something.
Wow!! Five pages of pure speculation. Must be a slow NFL news day.
Yep. That and I scooped the guy who works for the Cardinals.Speculation? What speculation? Its a fact we swapped rather then acquiring a pick.
Speculation? What speculation? Its a fact we swapped rather then acquiring a pick.
Patience? I better not say anything else. Go Bradley! So what pick did we give them and what pick did they give us? Until we know that, all the speculation in the world isn't going to change anything. Have a little patience before you start the lynching.
Patience? I better not say anything else. Go Bradley!
And if we are right, the darksiders usually are about the Cardinals...Right. Start the lynching now and if we find out we're wrong who cares. They deserved to be lynched for something else.
