doesnt have any clue to play the position, his speed is wasted cause he read the play 1 second late

To be fair, reading route combinations and understanding what's going to happen is probably the most difficult adaptation he would have to make. That wasn't why he was drafted, IMO. Bucannon was supposed to be the guy in coverage.

The problem is that he's not fast moving forward. He'll make plays when it's schemed up for him to get open. He's extremely quick pulling the trigger and running through a gap that's opened up for him. But he can't fight through traffic and he waits an extra two beats to see — not feel — where the back is coming out.

you have to stop the run before your awesome pass rush can be effective.

One thing the Cardinals finally could do for a while was stop the run and last year was a total farce. You're damn right I would throw some money at Mosley to stuff the run. Now allow me to have some crazy thoughts... draft Bosa or Williams and then sign Mosley and Suggs :)

So does Suggs start olb and Bosa a 3-4 DE? Or are we bringing in Suggs to back up Bosa?

Excuse me, I got freaking excited about the possibilities. I would draft Williams and clog that middle and turn the mad dogs loose as LT would say. Our offense has issues but we are so concerned with our offense (as expected and which deserves interest) that we forget with these free agents and this draft... our defense could be bad ass :)

2003 called. Hey want their first round pick back. Just handle free agency and draft the best player available and don’t overthink things

We need to fix this offense as much as we can thru free agency and the draft( except for the first round!) lol. I think KK can turn this offense around in a big way this year. Sign 2 good linemen, a decent wr, draft a wr and things will be better. It will take the league a little while to figure out what we’re doing. Rosen, Dj, Clay, fitz, Kirk, + another wr, Edmonds, and an improve o-line could almost double our point output from last year. That alone will make the defense better.

What sucks is that I have followed pro football for close to thirty five years where I have an idea what was going on. I still think of defensive pieces in a context to turn the tide when in reality the rules are so skewed to the offense, the great defensive talent means you will have a average defense lol

Yes. We have to remove any doubt about Rosen. Give him and KK every weapon possible to put this thing in motion. A much better offense will help make the defense a little better.
