Is there a pic of the trophy that we got? and where is it currently located...

for the life of my i can't find one. it's unreal. also, for some reason i think we received the trophy and returned it to the nfl, or some such nonsense. regardless, it's the most elusive trophy on the face of the planet.

once we have the trophy we would organize a trip for whomever wanted to go. we'd inform the az news outlet, the pennsylvania news outlet, espn and fox sports for sure. i'll bet that it would get some minor coverage. particularly if the cards are still mired in awfulness.

I have a picture of the plaque that tells the NFL side of the story. I got it when I went to Canton this year. I also think I snapped a shot of the "trophy". I'm not sure if it was the one given to the Cards or the Maroons, (i believe they had one made up for the Maroons to appease the masses at some point in time.) I'll try and resize them when I get home, post them.

Just a note, there were other teams accused and fined that year for having un-sanctioned games.... so it wasn't just the Cards/Maroons.

I am down for this in all seriousness...I am going to call the city of Pottsville tomorrow and try to get in touch with some city officials to see if they would let us make peace...at least symbolic peace.

Yep - Yuengling is brewed in Pottsville. Instead of being anti - Pottsville, I drink Yuengling almost exclusively now. If its on tap at a bar, that's what I get. If I go buy beer at the store, that's what I get. Goodwill towards Pottsville!
