I think Sexson just released the Offense from the Sleeping Beauty Spell - by hammering his first D-Back Home Run into the pool, he has made a proper offering to the Beisbol Gods and Kachinas, and it seems they are pleased.

I am willing to cut him some slack. Jimmy T wasn't very good when he first started either, but later I thought he improved and was pretty good.

Jimmy T is 1000% better than Grace. Grace isn't even funny, I am so tired of his whimsical stories.

I would have posted sooner, but I'm stuck in Cincy listening to Cubs fans at the hotel bar whine about Sosa & Maddox, not to mention needing an hour to get a dial-up connection!! I'm following the game on MLB.com's Gamecast (much improved from last year), and it appears as though Webb settled down nicely. It is also VERY nice to see Mayne provide some offensive support tonight, along with Richie's first HR!

Grace is there to be LOOKED at gentlemen, not heard. But speaking of, Ken Phelps sux. He's repetitive, obvious, dull, and frequently just wrong. But other than that....

Grace needs to stop smoking because it has made his voice sound horrible. I think the Diamondbacks need to hire Jennie Finch after the Olympics, then the ratings would go up.

Andrew Good just gave up a grand slam home run and now he just gave up a single to Todd Green who hit it off the wall. Brenly just took Good out. If they blow this game Good might as well pack his bags and drive to Tucson.
