MVP's of the game go to Mayne, Webb and Sexson for starting the onslaught of runs with his first Diamondback home run.

When you walk 3 straight batters,it only takes one swing to get hammered.Location, location ,location.

The BB will get you beat up.

Looking forward to the rubber game tonight after the offense showed up last night.

Joe Kennedy vs. Elmer Dessens tonight. Looks like we will need that bullpen again.

Yeah...probably it's too premature to judge a player on just 1 AB....But if Estalella proves himself over the next couple weeks both offensively and defensively...the Dbacks will have slight problem once Hammock is reactivated...

Maybe they could keep Estalella as the every day catcher and insert Hammock in RF, because Hammock might re-injure himself quite easily if he returns back as the every day-catcher....

Well...it's now the 4th inning and of course the "real" Elmer Dessens emerges... I wonder who will be the 1st pitcher warming-up in the BP?

It's not entirely his fault though, if Kata hadnt committed that error...I wonder why Alomar was benched tonight......Oh well....

Not all of Elmer's fault. Alomar has 10 gold gloves, he would of had that grounder and it would of been a double play.

Exactly. If Alomar was playing he would of had it. Bautista had a great play.

Leaving Dessens out there may have been a mistake. He is maxed out based on last year's history. I hope he gets this guy out.

He didn't get the guy out but still a solid outing by Dessens...

5 2/3 IP and only 1 earned run

I agree..good outing. We cannot expect him to shut everyone out. Now let's hope the bullpen can hold them down and the offense can get it back.
