My excitement for this team is decreasing dramatically. Good grief. Cubs lineup is too loaded for our probably not as good as we hoped for pitching staff. Still way early in the season but man.

Once upon a time, I liked the pitching of Randall Delgado. But he hasn't been that reliable reliever in quite awhile.

I shudder to see him come in, especially in the 7th inning with a 1-run deficit, which is now a 3-run deficit.

Pretty sad to see. I had higher hopes this year. Maybe they turn it around but right now, they are in last place in their division. I didn't think that was going to be the case starting off the year.

7 games is too early to panic, but this start has to be seen as an unmitigated disaster. Lots of $$$ spent to see us not really even be competitive. Pollock loss hurts, but it's not the story for us just unraveling at seemingly every level.

Have hope, guys. It has been reported that Greinke has been under the weather with the flu. And he is the guy setting the tone now.

We've been up against two good hitting teams, which does not represent the typical remaining schedule.

If we lost five out of seven during the season, no one would jump to the conclusion that we are a .287 team.

Better days are coming!

Way too early to "go there" guys... The Rockies will be one of the top offensive teams in MLB, and the Cubbies could very easily be playing in late October.
It's a bummer of a start for sure, however, let's see what this all looks like come early/mid May...

Eh, I'm not sure I'm buying the whole "he's sucked because of the flu" thing. If he was so sick he shouldn't have been pitching once, much less twice.
