As did Wilt the Stilt, Marino, Nash, and others.
Hmmm, putting Nick Ahmed's lifetime stats in the same category with Kurt, Wilt, Marino and Nash.

Oh, OK, I feel much better now. :)

'Good to see the D-backs post a 3-spot in the top of the first with 4 consecutive 2-out hits.

The point is his number has nothing to do with his terrible hitting.

Grienke with another solid start. His 5th in his last 7 starts.

Good to see.

Grienke did great today, as did our bats with 2 outs and runners on.

Lighten up, huh. Did you not see my smiley face?

Because of superstition, few players wear number 13. When you struggle to hit .200 consistently over your career, maybe it is time to not laugh in the face of adversity. :)

Ahmed had a good hitting Spring Training. And a good hitting start of the season. Then the doldrums for too long. And, in the past few games, a few hits to get up over .200. History says that won't last too long. And that was right after racking up errors in the field.

For his own sake, I would like to see Nick try something different. Just for the hell of it. A public relations move.

When Pollock returns, the Ahmed experience should be over, if not when Peralta returns, now that Drury has earned his place as a regular.

It is not just about Ahmed. It is about who his presence as a starter keeps on the bench.
