Does it really surprise you that Nine-0 did this tho?

Actually yes. While he is definitely off the cuff with his comments. I would have expected better judgment here especially when you are basically begging for a contract redo.. I could TOTALLY see the Bidwills cringing too when they know they are going to have to write this guy a HUGE check.

Speaking of over eating I'm gonna go get lunch and forget I ever saw that picture of DD with nothing but a towel. I knew better than to click on this thread.

LOL. I must have been getting Shane and LIAC confused ;)

I 100% agree Shane.

I would think once management finds out about this DD will be talked to. Common sense says DD made a mistake.

Wow, people are going way over the top with this. It is not like he made a porno or taped himself doing something even more disgusting.

He is a goofy dude, I am sure nothing in that video hurt anyone (I haven't watched because I really have no desire to see DD naked).

The calls for trading him or anything else are just WAY out there.

Yup, he didn't make a porno but you do realize there are websites that cater to the exact same thing, right?

Not only was this a dumb move but if he did it for only a grand while others have established a business doing this sort of thing, he doubled down on dumbness. Way to capitalize on this , Dockett.

Hence the DBL D.

Was anything he did illegal??

If not then Roger the fun police really cant do anything. Every other player that has been suspended broke a law.

When did Big Ben break a law? Why is he serving a suspension? You don't have to break a law or get convicted to get suspended.

I thought rape was illegal, just because he wasnt charged doesnt mean it didnt happen. Take Kobe as an example, hell OJ even got off on double murder chargers. This isnt the first time Ben has been accused of something of this nature so I would think it holds water.

There are web sites that cater to anything. He obviously wasn't doing it to make money(what is $1000 to a guy who makes millions?) he was doing it because he likes doing things that people find outrageous and he is a strange bird.

I just don't find nakedness to be offensive so I still fail to see the big deal.

I'm willing to bet that this would fall outside the guidelines of Goodell's conduct policy. Do you deny that?

Heck no I wouldn't deny that--the team has already said they are going to talk to--I doubt the NFL does more than warn him. I've never felt DD was a smart guy (and this wasn't a smart thing to do) and he is a guy who acts before he thinks. Again though I don't think he did anything offensive though and people are making a huge deal out of nothing.

If I had ASFN$ I'd bet it all he won't get suspended.

So if the law didn't convict him and they didn't find sufficient evidence of a crime , how can you say he raped a women? Are you making a judgment based on what you read in the media or did you find the smoking gun?

Fact is, there is no conclusive evidence and under the law as written, he didn't commit a crime.

Now if you want to talk about what you "think" happened, then that's a whole different story. It's called conjecture in the court of law.

And you yourself said, this isn't the first time he has been accused. Key work accused.

Look I agree that where there is smoke, there is fire but that's not the point. The point is that Goodell doesn't need a conviction to suspend someone. And the proof in this is that the NFL players association isn't getting involved. Shane has this right. If someone fails to uphold the league conduct policy, they can get suspended regardless of whether they get convicted or accused of a crime.

So if I decide to give away pot ( hypothetical) and not make money like the rest of them cause I am a outrageous type of guy , does it diminish the act any?

Well, the point isn't about why he did it, the point is that he did it. That's why I have a problem with this.

I know it's not the best comparison but you get the point.

Yeah you need a better comparison, giving away "pot" (a controlled substance) and taking a shower on web cam...one is a crime the other isn't as far as I know.

Since the Good Conduct policy has anyone been suspended when they haven't at least been accused of a crime? I can't remember an example (there could be but I honestly don't remember it).

Like I said, it's not about the reason why he did it, it's the act. And when you factor in the NFL conduct policy, he didn't necessarily break the law but it will be determined whether he broke the guidelines.

Maybe it wasn't breaking a law but it could be considered breaking the conduct rules. And in the end, both acts go against set rules regardless of the reason.

Going to court and telling them I wasn't profiting is meaningless in the eyes of the law. They will laugh at my excuse. Same thing will happen when Dockett tells his story to the NFL office.

As far as I remember the only guys suspended because of the policy have been PacMan, Tank Johnson, Chris Henry, Vick, and Big Ben. If I am not forgetting anyone then the answer would be no.

Some people on here need a critical thinking course. Why are you comparing apples to salmon?

Are you referring to me? If you are, your statement should be attached to a quote since you are addressing and asking a question to a specific person, no?

I mean, since you like to get technical and all.

Dude your overreacting. Again.

I gotta book to recommend for your life and NFL enjoyment. Don't sweat the small stuff.

This isn't and won't be a big deal. I'd be surprised if it even draws a fine.

Apparently I should have quoted your other 5 posts. I meant your making a big deal out of something that a) won't be a big topic come Monday and b) wont lead to a suspension. It had nothing to do with the specific Cushing post (and saying Docketts shower is going to take that off the Monday's front page is laughable at best considering they BOTH will be non issues come Monday, but I digress)

Basically you are all up in arms about something no one will be even remember happened come Tuesday.

Dockett will get pulled to the side and told to quit acting like a bonehead on Twitter and earth will be returned to its axis.

When is everyone going to get that just because someone does something that isn't your cup of tea, doesn't mean its wrong or stupid or worth getting hysterical about. As long as its not hurting anyone at least.

How bout everyone quits projecting their moral compass on the masses???

Dockett might not be the sharpest crayon in the box but this is his personality. Just like DRC likes to wear Dora back packs and Matt likes to hit the beer bong every now and then.

Cheering for a bunch of emotionless devoid of personality robots wouldn't be much fun now would it? Or realistic for that matter.

When it starts effecting football games, feel free to weigh in. But this latest stunt almost surely won't so just relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx everybody.

Offseason news......sheesh

Well this story is not on ESPN, SI, or Yahoo's NFL page headlines. It may get a mention as a joke on some show Monday but will not be talked about at length.
