#azcardinals decision-makers aren't crying over Dockett loss. Otherwise, would have offered him more, or countered 49ers offer
Like the way the FO is going with their plan. Stick to it and don't budge. Fair offer was made and DD didn't accept it. Business decision, no more, no less.

Perfectly said.

I will only add that he will be welcome back like the prodigal son when he is ready to return.

He doesn't have the talent to be a prodigal son anymore.

If he had went to almost any other team I could say good luck but going to the 49ers all I can say is good riddance.

But have you made $50 mil + in your career? Is your new employer spinning out of control and likely going to miss the playoffs for the foreseeable future? Do you have to kick your old boss in the balls when you leave?

IMO Dockett gave up his shot at a ring for $1.5m after he's already earned more than enough money to feed his family for generations.

Which actually makes me care even less that he left.

Exactly. Can't compare the real world with the NFL.

Loved him in the Cardinals uniform. Hate seeing him in a 49ers uniform.

Will always think of him as a Cardinal

Every Cardinal that signs with the 49ers automatically becomes dead to me.
So long hillbilly face.

Figured this was going to happen after he didn't take well to initial restructuring talks. I think someone owes Dansby an apology now! Oh well, glad the Cardinals didn't overpay for an aging veteran. It's painful to see him go to the Niners but best for the Cardinals in the long run.

I'd like to see the Cardinals repay the favor by signing Frank Gore and Mike Iupati from the Niners in FA.

They had a horrible system before harbaugh and had a great system with him. I doubt they do anything next year even with the players they have on the team. Yea, they will probably bat the cards as they seem to do each year, but they won't be a team to worry about. Rams will take over that area next year.

By debacle, I mean when they lost Harbaugh... they where great as a front office with him :)

I am really indifferent. He wasn't there last year when we won 11 games. The Cards didn't want him back that badly so I can understand the want to play against us and do well. He most likely isn't going to see that second year of the contract. I'd rather have that money to spend on an offensive lineman that can help us win games. I highly doubt Doc is going to do much against us matching up with the Hulk, maybe I'm wrong.

No sure why everyone is upset. Dockett gave us a chance to match the offer. Dockett's personality has always been an emotional guy with a chip on his shoulder. That's exactly what he is doing now. He is mad we didn't want him back so he is going to try and prove us wrong. I have no problem with that.

Use that savings to upgrade the oline.

Hate seeing him go to the Niners. I think he'll have a good year. Looking forward to him being in the Cardinal ROH. Not upset with the FO. Not sure why, but this just makes me hate Boldin even more lol.

“He chased the money,” Dockett said of Dansby last April. “I’ve got a lot of respect for our guy that left, I love him like a brother. But we were one or two pieces away from really making a lot of noise. . . .

“I personally feel like he chased the money versus chasing a ring. No knock towards Cleveland — I don’t want people to try to think I’m saying Cleveland doesn’t have a chance; everybody has a chance — but I just felt like it was made for him to be here.”

It's better to let a player go a year too early than a year too late!

See ya 9-0 but no hate here it's how football goes
