Lol… no kidding.I did not have the Morris twin era Suns as a selling point for KD wanting to play here on my bingo card.
If he was a 21 year old this trade never happensHe is a 26-year-old player on his way up

So what is it? Fantasy team or real money.Hi, casual fan here popping by to confirm Friday is likely the first game KD dresses for the Suns. What say you?
(I'll save the full, tired rant on what the Suns gave up in the trade until my 3rd or 4th post at which point I'll consider myself a true die-hard that bleeds orange )

The Kobe section at 5:30 tells you a lot about how Kobe approached the game. Remarkable.Good Stuff

Yes. All we need is a coach that is actually any good. This is a championship roster
75% of the teams in this league would fire their own coach and hire Monty if he was available.Yes. All we need is a coach that is actually any good.
75% of the coaches in the league will also never win a championship.75% of the teams in this league would fire their own coach and hire Monty if he was available.
While I believe good coaching can make an impact, the idea that any NBA coach is incapable of winning a title with the right roster to me seems like baloney. Enough talent can transcend coaching and has in the past.75% of the coaches in the league will also never win a championship.
There also have been multiple Super Teams in the past that couldn't get it done in the past. By your logic that should never happen. Although, I do think, there is more to it than just coaching and talent. There are things like strength of schedule, injuries, seeding, what other teams did and little luck that also play a factor. While I believe good coaching can make an impact, the idea that any NBA coach is incapable of winning a title with the right roster to me seems like baloney. I’d love for you to list the bad/mediocre coaches that talent has overcome to win a title. While I believe good coaching can make an impact, the idea that any NBA coach is incapable of winning a title with the right roster to me seems like baloney. Tough to do, because the coaches are often given more credit than they deserve for winning a title but here are 3 who have won who I don't think are particularly good.I’d love for you to list the bad/mediocre coaches that talent has overcome to win a title.
Rudy Tomjanovich and Paul Westhead.Tough to do, because the coaches are often given more credit than they deserve for winning a title but here are 3 who have won who I don't think are particularly good.
Frank Vogel, Doc Rivers, Mike Budenholzer
Lol… Frank Vogel made the Pacers a legit title contender, taking the Heat Super Team to 7 and 6 games when their second best player was Roy Hibbert. Also won Coach Of The Year before ever hitting the Lakers. The idea that he’s not particularly good is laughable.Tough to do, because the coaches are often given more credit than they deserve for winning a title but here are 3 who have won who I don't think are particularly good.
