they REALLY need to get a legit downfield threat. Felt like more often than not when Kyler really let it go, it was either caught for a big gain or hit the WRs hands and dropped. His arm and accuracy on downfield shots were what impressed me the most season.

man... watching those videos reminds me also of just how shocked I was at his arm-strength. The kid has a cannon on his arm... like an Elway size cannon.

I think its cause of how small he is that it catches you off guard.

Also the #s are probably skewed because we didn't take many shots down the field (why the % is so high). I do think we need a playmaker, but again I think we need an Oline to allow for those deep shots to develop. Kyler hasn't shown the tendency to stick in the pocket and take a hit while throwing downfield. So either we need to give him the protection or expect more of the same (rollouts turned into sacks).

Palmer's offense was a hang in the pocket until the last second and Chuck it deep offense. We haven't seen much of that yet.
