He said if someone shot him, who knows what would happen...indicating someone ELSE may do something to him to cause it...at least from what I gathered.

Why did Nathan lie to Peter about the painting? From the phone conversation with Lunderman it sounds like the painting will be shipped back to the art gallery, but then Nathan tells Peter that Lunderman won't let go of it... did I misunderstand?

I think it was "I can't give it to you, it's already displayed at the art gallary" (which is probably a lie).
What I want to know is why doesn't Simone have a photo of the painting (for a catalog or record keeping) or why doesn't he just ask Linderman for a picture of it?
Does Peter really need the painting itself of does he just need to see the image?
I am in such a freakin' mood today. I was bored & irritated by the slowness of the episode.
