He has a point...When did I say I was pissed? I am amused however from the expected response of the blind following the blind. I will also have a chuckle after about week 6 or 7 when half of you wont have a good thing to say about the team yourselves.I can almost read it now, Warner needs to start, Edge is done, Clancy needs to be fired, who are we taking with the 1st pick?

Yes now I am troll? Right.... There is not a bigger fan of local teams on this board than me. ASFN has been my homepage for 2+_ years both at home and at work, but I am a troll. True I don't post as much as others of my man crush for the "Bidwills", Denny Green and the such. I cant believe someone actually gave me crap for supporting ASU, true they have not always been on top but at least they have been competative and actually won more than they lost, its also a school which does not have a draft or a salary cap or revenue sharing to try and make things equal for competative balance. I am venting and am pissed that Phoenix instead of getting an expansion team got stuck with the Cards funny that Carolina (superbowl) Jacksonville (playoffs) have had better sucees than the Cards have ever had, hell even the Texans seem to have our number. I am not Bruce Jacobs but I do like his show and I would love it if Mike B would actually have the balls to be interviewed on his show but he won't cuz Bruce would expose him for what they are and Mike knows he has no answers to defend what this ownership has or has not accomplished since they have moved to AZ. The battle cry for too long was we need a stadium, well they knew for 4 years they had their new stadium and the money streams it would bring and what did we get? Same holdouts 1 free agent signing (Edge) a 5-11 record and the epic MOnday night collapse on national tv in our brand new stadium.

Hang in there, I know you are mostly venting. I have been very close to where you are many times in the past. Somehow, I always come back to them.
When I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, I started following the Panthers very closely. It was frustrating because that organization at the time was the opposite of the Cardinals. Great ownership, good drafts, re-signed their good players. Even went to the Superbowl. I was in football heaven. Even still, when the Cards play the Panthers I pull for the Cards. Can't help it....it's an incurable disease.

I think it's amazing that this thread went this long. Maybe the O-line is better, maybe our stars are really stars. Maybe you should root for the other team, but next time please don't share it with us. Just remember this, I don't care who you root for, as for myself I will forever bleed red!

You are living in the past. The Cards have really made significant changes in how they do business and I've posted those changes numerous times on this board.

Fair enough. But what I'm wondering is - instead of focusing on supporting the teams you root for - why are you wasting time and emotional energy coming over here to rip the Cardinals (and by implication) their fans?
Why would you stumble around on the virtual on-line streets of this bulletin board muttering like some homeless person about a decision that was made 19 years ago (about locating the Cards in Arizona) and why we can't be more like Jacksonville?

I have nothing against anyone that wants to leave. Anything that makes someone truly miserable all the time, that they don't have to put up with, they probably shouldn't. Forget about it. Move on to a better life, if you think you can.
I personally hope, however, that this guy ends up being the sailor in that Russell Crowe movie a few years ago, that cursed the ship. The other sailors decided he was cursed and they were going to throw him overboard. He ends up grabbing some heavy thing and plunging himself into the depths of the ocean himself, because he also believed he was cursed. If just do it wants to jump overboard anyway, then I am hoping he is cursed and he takes the curse with him. If he's been here as long as he says, there's at least an argument that he's whats been stinking this team up. He might as well throw himself into the ocean. See what happens. It can't hurt. He's basically worthless as a fan to us at this point anyway.
