So a Coach who likely is no longer on staff makes a anonymous quote to talking head and its supposed to be gospel? Not buying it.:thumbdown
I sure don`t recall hearing any leadership issues during the season about Rosen from anybody.

LOL you're being ridiculous. Any supposed red flag against Murray is the word of Christ, but you wave off any red flag for Rosen.

This isn't the first time we've heard someone question Rosen's bona fides about being a leader. His own damn college coach, Jim Mora, openly questioned his leadership ability. It was a big red flag, and reminded me of the answers Kurt Warner gave about Leinart after he had retired.

This is speculation, but maybe, just maybe, Rosen is exactly what people said about him before we drafted him. Maybe people inside Cardinals HQ think he is a douche and they don't think he is the guy to lead this football team. The fact that the Cardinals are linked to a QB prospect should give pause about JOSH ROSEN. It should make you think, that people who have spent considerable time with him over the past year already are willing to walk away from him, and discard him for pennies on the dollar.

We haven't discussed this much, but maybe Rosen is the problem. Maybe this is an indictment against Rosen, and that the team isn't gambling now, they gambled and lost last year.

His one clear above average skill is open field running, which is a complimentary skill.

That's BS. If you don't think he has a great arm, great delivery, then I question your ability to even judge QB prospects.

Murray's red flags are mainly size related. No one (except you apparently) is questioning how good his arm is.

You're killing him Krang. Good too, because he's the most intractable of the bunch.

Keep it up bro.

His running is 'exceptional' his passing does not match that superlative.

Don't expect someone who sees a pint - size Andrew Luck to agree.

So many words to say so little.

Who of consequence has said they are prepared to walk away from Rosen?

There are only 3 people that count. I'm looking forward to you producing any quotes from them.

You're our QB "right now".- Keim Go get em Rosen! Lol. PS. I understand that could easily be part of the grand smokescreen. That's why it's silly for both sides to take anything heard or written as gospel. Imo

I specifically said I was speculating.

MMQB just said on an article that Rosen didn't mesh in the Cardinals locker room. Now two media sources to also include the predraft chatter. Like I said before his head coach at UCLA also took a swipe at him.

Hit it out of the park!! Beware of any athlete who relishes the thought of sitting under a tree sipping coffee during the offseason. Rosen is a weirdo. Yes he is.

How many times do we have to hear that Rosen isn't well liked in the lockerroom until we believe it? Fitzgerald spoke highly of him, but he also talks up scrubs like William Powell.

I'm beginning to believe that the gamble isn't this year, that the gamble was last year, gambling on a QB that 6 QB needy teams passed on. His college coach avoided praising him in interviews. That's specifically relevant because college coaches have to walk that fine line between pissing off NFL teams (and hurting future prospects draft stock and thus hurting recruiting) or scaring off future recruits (because they saw head coach bash player and hurt his stock).

I'll go with Fitz, on the record, until someone is prepared to put his face to the criticism.

And when did universal love become relevant to leadership in the huddle?

Fitz likes everyone. Good friends with poopy Robert Sarver. His opinion on this topic means nothing.

The point being made is that the Cardinals don't think he's a leader, meaning they don't think he is the guy to lead their football team. Hence the interest in Kyler Murray, a guy known as a great leader every where he's been.
