And , Johnny Football beat #1 Alabama and in a close loss had 5tds and 464 yards

If Manziel had a normal man's brain, he could have been great. He's just a mental/emotional train wreck. Not sure why you're making comparisons between what Murray & Manziel did against 2 different teams altogether??

Lance Zierlein was just on Doug and Wolf talking about why he changed his mock to have Murray going to the Cardinals.

He said that he started hearing Murray to the Cards in January.

An interesting thing he said: he said that he thinks Murray projects to being a good NFL QB. He doesnt think hes going to be great, but being a good starter is not a bad thing.

When he talked about his grade on Rosen he said he thought that Murray is better because of his leadership ability. He has spoken with someone on last years staff and the coach didnt believe in Rosen as a leader of a football team.

It's a ******** argument. Its not the same Alabama team.

Literally no player from that team was on the team that played Kyler Murray.

Just as relevant? That Alabama loss to Tennessee in 1952!

Of course - we can't possibly compare Johnny Football's stats against #1 Alabama, way back when they played with leather helmets, and KM's.

Your self-serving logic is impeccable!

So a Coach who likely is no longer on staff makes a anonymous quote to talking head and its supposed to be gospel? Not buying it.:thumbdown
I sure don`t recall hearing any leadership issues during the season about Rosen from anybody.

So let's invest a #1 in a possibly "good" QB because someone who got fired questions Rosen's leadership abilities.

Sign me up!

(and we all heard the speculation surrounding KM and the Cards from the day KK was hired.)

We are comparing undersized Heisman Trophy winners against #1 Alabama.

Manzeil got off pretty good against AL on his home field in the 3rd regular season game, that's true Guernsey.

Well, except for the two picks he threw. One returned 73 yards for a touchdown by Bama. That put Bama up by 21 in the 3rd by the way. :)

Any evidence Bosa or Williams will be more than "good"?

Again, I don't know if you have comprehension issues so I will spell it out one more time.

Johnny Manziel played a completely different team. Not a single player who played in that game is still a college football player.

Mentioning Josh Rosen's win against TAMU is just as relevant because the point is....irrelevant.

No.

But both have prototypical size and skills that offer some assurance, unlike Mini-Me.

Because prototypical size means anything.

Bosa played 29 college football games, with 17 sacks, not to mention he has had two season ending injuries in his career.

Q Williams only started ONE season.

Both of them have major question marks as well.

Bosa has injury questions?

Well crap that settles it. Now we know who Keim is drafting.

Here’s what bothers me is why aren’t teams tripping over each other to get Murray?
Not many teams are in need of a QB this year. It's basically just the Redskins (who are too stupid for their own good), the Broncos (Kyler isn't the prototypical garbage tall white guy that Elway seems to like), and the Dolphins (see the notes for the Redskins). Giants would be smart to go for Murray or Rosen, but they likely wouldn't give us enough for either to be worth it.

My comprehension skills have never failed.

There were about 25 players from Alabama's 2012, 2013 squads who made it to the NFL and many are still in the League. It speaks to the quality of the roster than Johnny faced and, as such, there is no illogic in comparing two players who went up against the #1 team at the time, particularly given the relatively short span between these confrontations.

You make a big issue of how KM played in a losing cause against Alabama and recent history using Johnny Football as the example shows there is nothing particularly exceptional about KM's feat.

Does Murray not have above average QB skills that most QBs don't possess?..so it's just the height thing then, right? Cause you mentioned skills in there..

Really!

I know you're deep into your faith, but, are you going to now argue that KM's likely success as a QB is equal to that of Bosa or Williams at their respective positions?

LOL...again comprehension.

I'm stating that both of those two have red flags as well.

His one clear above average skill is open field running, which is a complimentary skill.

Thanks for posting! Thank you for posting the times too ...made it a lot better to listen to.

Yes Murray will be the pick. "I've been watching him (Murray) since his second year of high school and I've never seen him have a bad game." - WOW!

"He's a special special talent"

Writing is on the wall...if Murray isn't taken KK will cry it was Keim's fault from the roof tops.
