from this game -- maybe the top thing that changes Kyler's perception around the league?

getting absolutely smoked by a blindside hit to the point where the helmet flew off 5 yards.

and he pops right up and two plays later throws a laser to convert a 3rd and long, and then throws a rainbow for a TD the next play

goes a long way to answering questions on his toughness and mental toughness

It would be very hard to win the award without getting meaningful national exposure while only leading the NFL in a fake stat like QBR.

Is he more deserving than Lamar, Josh Allen, Goff, or Mahomes?

He can be real good without being an MVP candidate.

Hmmm... as you wish my friend.

I think the SEA game will be a very, very important 2024 data point in terms of is K1 "top ten" or "top three".

Those bloodthirsty darksiders have been clamoring for "consistency", and it will be very very interesting to see if Murray can string together two elite performances.

Hope you have a great week K9!

The fact that there is a darksiders thread with the whole premise of doomers predicting the wheels falling off is quite embarrassing for Cards fans.

Talk about fragile psyche.

Let your guard down and celebrate a new coach, new players, new culture, and a top 5 QB. ;)

I never want to see that again.

Taking hits as a franchise QB proves nothing other than you’re getting hit.

Why put your QB in a position like that?

Ask Tua if taking hits or punishment proves he’s tough. His team would rather have him on the field orchestrating the offense.

They were talking about this very thing this morning on Bickley's show

Even in a "debate" thread, this isn't really a helpful response.
At the beginning of the season this was a large contingent of people on here and now its too triggering to bring up in a thread that only exists because of said people?

Come on bro. Own it or disavow it now.

It never should have been said.

You can go look at the thread; I wasn't one of the people who said it was time to move on from Kyler Murray. But taking victory laps like this is toxic. No one here is unhappy about this three-game four-game win streak.

But people like you are definitely doing everything they can to make this board an unhappy place during what should be an extremely happy time for every Cards fan.

4 game win streak. Wildly 5-1 in the last 6.

What really would have made the board unhappy would have been getting rid of the best player on our team.

I have been unbelievably happy watching this season. It has been great and K1 has been a big factor in the season going well. Why would anyone be unhappy given how well we have played?

The biggest thing Kyler has improved this season has been knowing where his checkdown is and using it instead of scrambling, and Petzings scheme usually has a decent check down option that can get 5+ yards.

The thing he has improved in this recent run is not going to that checkdown too soon. He's staying in the pocket, letting routes develop and not bailing out or going to the check too quickly as he was earlier in the season.

Agree with this.

A lot does have to do with the oline also being more in sync than in the first 4-5 games.

K1 definitely has more confidence in the pocket and he has said that he needed to slow down just a tad through reads and footwork.

When K1 is given time the dude throws some of the prettiest passes you will see. Yesterday his passes were incredible.

You better go back and watch that play again. His helmet definitely went 15 yards lol.
