K1 is about to be talked about as an MVP for the 2nd time in his career.

We should let him go though after the 2025 season and Derek Carr is on the same level.
I really believe that Conner is the Cardinal MVP. The offense runs through him, and sets the attitude of the entire team with his aggressive and physical play, especially with the young players.

I never want to see that again.

Taking hits as a franchise QB proves nothing other than you’re getting hit.

Why put your QB in a position like that?

Ask Tua if taking hits or punishment proves he’s tough. His team would rather have him on the field orchestrating the offense.
Well, Kyler kind of put himself in that position. There was a free rusher outside of PJJ, who was occupied blocking, so he has to know that pre-snap. That said, it was the ONLY mistake he made, and it's one all QBs make from time to time. No issue with it because he protected the ball, showed he could take a hit, and bounced right up. That's a good look for the kid.

So you’re with Hurts and Burrow also being MVP candidates?
Burrow is the 2nd best QB in the league (3rd if we just give Mahomes the #Auto number 1 spot)

They win that game against the Ravens and he's definitely getting MVP hype.

Hurts Im fine with. Saquan should be getting more love but there is a bias against RBs. He'd a TD compiler so if they finish with a #1 or 2 seed he'll be behind Lamar and Allen.

None of this stuff matters. This isn't like last year where it was a down year for the top QBs.

Awesome! Hope Murray starts to build up a little goodwill with you so that this uptick of your opinion of him can survive his next interception! haha :)

Oh, he's built some good will alright. I'm absolutely loving what I'm seeing--with some consistency now, too!

Also, hey, if that interception comes on a non-stupid throw with him going aggressive downfield, more power to him!

the thing i am encouraged about:

so many more timing, anticipation and rhythm throws -- he hits the back foot and lets it rip. less patting the ball, less nervous feet

I also like he is going to checkdowns on time as well -- just swung it out to Connor or Benson and let them get 6 yards

watching Tua last night really made me appreciate how far Kyler has come.

this a positive way of telling Kyler that he can get better
Continued growth on the vertical throws and timing/rhythm throws is where this happens. Along with finding the balance of being a run threat. One of the easiest ways for Kyler to keep teams out of man coverage is beat it deep and use his legs.

They are discussing it now on ESPN. Anybody know what they’re saying I don’t have sound at the gym.
