I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I don't think we had to have either of these last two.

We have to have this one on Sunday. It's 100% a must win if we're serious about making the playoffs.

It's a good spot for the team. Home game. Everybody pretty healthy.

I expect a good performance from our offense, including K1.
No, you are not being a jerk. But if we could have won these last 2, we would be in a great position. Why wait for a must-win?

I'm sorry. You lost me there, and I am a Kyler fan. It is always someone else's fault. You never hold K1 accountable. You add nothing to the conversation. You come off as just a K1 fanboy. Life is too short. Time to just place you on ignore.

I tried to tell you the passing game against the Bears was a concern.

Jets game was the Jets being the Jets.

It just looks too hard.

JG being so dismissive of MHJ's struggles/not easy targets

Still Kyler needs to make THE play to win and not THE play to lose. Intentional grounding was a killer when Petzing is the OC. Pick 6 is a killer when you've not running game against the Seahawks. We should expect more.

To make you feel better Kyler is 2nd in QBR :lol

When he's throwing to McBride it looks pretty easy. They have a great connection.

But anything to a WR is an adventure, a struggle, you're right. Our WRs are covered like blankets most of the time.

Chemistry is great, but also it is heavily schemed for him imo.

I think the thing that's been clear since 2020. Kyler is a more dangerous passer with space and speed. If there are faster WRs on the field it challenges the defense differently. Keim had the right idea, but his draft picks were too small (or not good like Butler).

But again it still comes back to Kyler. He needs a healthy DHOP, he needs AJ Green before he gets washed, he needs MHJ when he runs his routes with great urgency, etc etc.

I love K1, but he's such a needy QB to be consistently good.

Petzing should be another unqualified future HC that Kyler gets a job elsewhere. Instead we're seeing Petzing's flaws of trying to work around Kyler's flaws. Its tough to watch at times.

This is actually a good post so I will bite.

What QBs are not talent dependent in the NFL?

Don’t do this. He’s a different fan than most of us, but bashing his fandom is the same type of unwarranted stuff that usually gets thrown at the Darksiders.
Wow CB pointing out the hypocrisy.

I would never block anyone by the way. Why would I ever come to a message board with like-minded fans and not have a discussion?

We are never going to see everything the same and why would we?

I’ve always thought bashing other’s fandom is lame, even we are the game totally different.

Why are you bringing up people blocking people? I didn’t say anything about that and neither did others, unless I missed something.

It was long winded, but for a great talent like him the Cardinals should have finished 2020/2021 despite the issues. He should beat teams like the Seahawks when they score 9 points on offense. And when he's got the chance to bury the Vikings he's does it.

Also I was wrong earlier . Kyler is actually #1 in the league in that stat.

There are plenty that have mentioned it in the thread in the last 2 pages.

That is why I said that. Not really having to do with you.

Kyler isnt beating the Trae Young of the NFL allegations until he starts winning. Bottom line.
(could make the case #s wise Trae is much more productive at his sport)
lol when did he get charged with being "the trae young of the NFL" and by whom?? first ive ever heard of this most specific comparison

I believe Russilo made the comparison (basketball/football comps) some years back. I know recently he said he's the most talented QB he doesn't trust.

And its been heavy on twitter since he's been in the league.

1. There was zero way he was winning last week with the way the line played. Pass blocking and run blocking the oline was terrible. This week I can see this being more on K1 than the Seattle game. Still doesn't excuse the fact of Petzing being terrible it just means that K1 would have had to overcome terrible circumstances like he has done through out his career here.

2. You don't have #1 overall QBR and be a replaceable QB easily. Would love to see what QB was in this lane over a season and was replaced effectively.

3. What QB is not talent-dependent in terms of offensive talent in the NFL?

omg.. K1 has literally led three game winning drives this season alone!

Who is being unreasonable here? 602 or you?

How about MHJ gets maybe a millimeter of separation on his last route to give his QB1 a chance to make a play?
The one where kyler threw it right to the defender? He didn’t even put enough air on it to give Harrison a chance at it. That play is on kyler, not Harrison.

Bad throw. Think he feared/felt the rush and just threw it without letting it rip.

I actually think the biggest miss of the game was the Kyler scramble. It looked like MHJ had a step for post corner deep. However, he once again sense the rush and bailed.

If PJJ holds up on his block I think Kyler was going to check down to Conner who had room to run. Bad time to get beat. Might have Been in position to win it.

On the 4th down play. I hate that Kyler didn't think to use his legs. They were playing man and blitzing with no spy. He had a lane.
You were killing petzig for calling conservative plays in the redzone and now this. Working hard to deflect from kyler.
Nah that play was pretty bad. Kyler getting sacked/intentional grounding was worse though.

The problem with 5 wide is there is still too much interior push. Its why the Kyler QB draw backfired earlier. So the Vikings don't fear a QB run.

I want to throw but it still give the Vikings the thought we might run.

the fumble, the run that should have gone out of bounds but didn’t, I had my finger on the tv power button ready to push it before Kyler even threw that last ball. Had no faith in him, he was in full panic mode.
