Don't like to hear that it is becoming a distraction...
No surprise to me. Nothing like starting up a QB controversy on a team with a young coach for a guy who isn't even on the team.

I think every part of this has been played wrong and we've almost backed ourselves into a corner for Murray. Like, if Josh comes out of this as the starter and ever succeeds, I'm going to give him all of the credit in the world for being way more unflappable and confident than I could have ever even pretended to be at his age.

Murray averaged 383 yards of offense a game ALONE....not counting a running game.
How that doesn't impress ya I'll never know

Only 383?

Using your logic, Ty Detmer was better because he averaged 432 yards per game when he won the Heisman.

Andre Ware averaged 427 yards of passing per game the year he won the Heisman (team average is still a record 624.9 yards per game) and broke 26 college football records. He played the same system in the NFL as he did in college...

College stats mean squat in the long run. If they were a predictor for success at the next level drafting would be much simpler.

Wow this is one hell of a smokescreen hahahahahhahahahhahahahhahaa

Murray haters Cards are taking him, he's here with his agent before the draft LOL
I think his agent, like Murray, forgets this is usually not customary except in baseball to bring his agent along lol

Why are some people acting like this is such a big deal? This happens all the time. Teams bring in players they're thinking about drafting to talk with them. Relax and don't overthink this.

If College stats mattered Kliff Kingsbury would have been the Patriots starting QB

College stats as a senior 14 games 67.3% 5017 yds 45 TDs 13 INTs

and Tom Brady would be his back up..
11 games 61.0% 2217 yds 16 TDs 6 INTs

College stats have their purpose but to use that as a measure of future success and ignoring measurables and intangibles is folly.

cause the talent is important, but more important is the mindset, the football iq, studying the game, the willing to compete

but in any case rosen looks to miss both aspects

What aspects is rosen missing?

He clearly has a good mindset and high football IQ. All reports are that he is a hardcore playbook study guy and he obviously is willing to compete.

Rosen has always had a rep for being cerebral QB and I don't remember reading a single article questioning his willingness to compete. You are just making stuff up because you have some irrational dislike of Rosen.

dont know, he stares in one receiver and forget 2 opens in the other side, accuracy issues, he got worse week by week, no typical strong mindset, dont see any leader traits, when he call the huddle, looks like he calls his friends for a barbecue

every time people boast his stats this is exactly where my mind goes.
He was the perfect example of a dual threat was that poised to fail though. Couldn't throw.. didn't have the upper level speed needed. Imo

i mean from tv u can see it enough closer

Depends what angle you're looking at. The biggest misconception of telling if a QB is looking off his primary receiver or not is watching the traditional side view offered by the television but when they show the view from the defense you will notice that Rosen constantly looked off his primary target :)
