Solemme get this straight.. It sounds as if you wouldnt post on a celtics board because its trolling.. You dont wanna post on a lakers board for whatever reason.. Yet it is perfectly ok to sport a lakers avatar on a arizona board and runs your gums silly talking about the lakers in a arrogant manner with your lakers gang to Suns fans? ya ok.. that makes perfect sense..

Yep. Perfect sense.

Shame on you for cheering for the Suns! The Laker Gods would have your head for such blasphemy. You were probably giving them the monkey paw. A true fan loves his/her team and hates the other 29.

Well, to be truthful, I wanted to face the Suns back then and not the Spurs, then this year I figured the Nooch would beat the Suns and I really liked the LA/Nooch matchup. So there were ulterior motives.

Cheering on a team or buying attire from a team that you would not support in normal circumstances is bandwagoning and sorry to say but a huge number of Lakers fans did it. Even Nicholson....your prized possession.

Watching a team for a series isn't bandwagoning. Jumping on that wagon and riding it for awhile is.

Now, I like Jack and all but where have I ever said he's my prized possession? He's just a ludicriously rich fan with great seats. I'm jealous of Jack.

Oh dont get me started on these Cards/lakers fans that feel it perfectly ok to go to A Suns home game when the lakers are in town and berate and talk trash to Suns fans with their piss yellow jerseys on, then have the audacity to show up and Cards games in Cards gear and tell all opposing fans that this is AZ and they have no business being in the Cards stadium with the other teams jersey.. I wont say who.. Ahh screw it.. Why do I care Its Donald and his merry band of butt kissers..

Says the Celtic Packer Suns Cardinals fan.

Kinda like when Laker fans went to watch the Clippers after the Lakers were eliminated? Doesn't make them Clipper "fans" does it? Hypocrisy much?

Owned. Gee, if you are looking for your ass it appears that Renz just handed it to you.

This thread has already hit 15 pages and the first game is not until Thursday.

And Laker fans have not answered the question I have asked a couple of times already: what the hell are you still doing here??

Perhaps you didn't get the memo, but there's no answer for your question. It's just reality. Deal with it.

I could see how you could misinterpret me being a celtics fan ( i know your just doing it deliberitly to somehow lessen your own faults as a laker fan), but how do you come up with me being a packers fan? Thats just an odd turn of events..

LMAO! I guess you just accidently looked pasted my reply to him..

But Ive always been curious about this "owned" thing though.. Is it because one person says it that makes it true? Or because your thoughts coincide with his, not nessasarly making them true? Or the fact it usually happens when two trolls untie on a board other than their own team? Cuz thats when the majority of people saying "owned" happens.. Or is because someone says really make it so?

I just always thought it was funny when the first word typed in a post is "owned".. I can just see some goofball yelling "OWNED"! then hard typing it into there post..

Now.. If someone was to type "owned" to you from my post here to you.. Does that make it so?

But anywho.. Back to the reason I replied to you.. Did you not see my response to Renz? Or are you conviently bypassing it to continue trolling?

That's hillarious.

:biglaugh:

Get off it and shut up already, none of us gloated a word when the Suns lost, we're not rubbing anyones face in anything. All the hostile talk is instigated by people like you that rip on the Lakers then rip on us if we post a reply. Gloating over the Suns loss would bring me no pleasure at all, zero. I'm glad you personally are unhappy, but I feel for the other Suns fans that are constantly let down. We're not the ones that start the trash talk on this forum, you are.

shut up already

How many different times to different people have you said this exact same thing to over the course of your run at ASFN? And how many times have people actually done this for you? Not the classiest of thing for a lakers fan to do.. But then again, only the lakers fans think they are actually classy..

Beg to differ. The duration of a "bandwagoning" is measured by the success of the wagon not the time one spends on it. In other words, a bandwagoner will on cheer on as long as the success of that bandwagon exists. When was the last time Jack flew out to see the Clips? When they were successful? Thank you!

I never said he was YOUR prized possession, I said he was the Lakers prized possession. :lmao:
Jack Nicholson is the ultimate Lakers fan bar none. When you think of the greatest Laker fan...you think Jack....period.

Ah, so now you are saying I'm a Laker? Thanks Joe. Finally seeing it my way. ;)

And when I think of the greatest Laker fan, I think of me. :D (Actually, I think of my great uncle Gene, RIP, who was the biggest Lakers/Angels fan I've ever known. That was practically 99% of our conversations.)

So humble and not egotistical. But you know who cares what laker fan thinks he's great? "Jack in the box" is a very visible laker fan (since the days of magic) with alot of money, but I doubt he's ever even played bball. He may be a great laker fan, dont know about him really appreciating the game itself. Never saw jack in the stands back when the chamberlain/west lakers were tearing the NBA up, and he's old enough(like dirt) to have been there. These actor types are ****** for self promotion, any way to be visible to advance their careers. Frankly, the best, most knowledgable basketball fans are knicks fans, they have big crowds even on the playgrounds, and know their stuff. The best BASKETBALL fans dont want to win at any cost, they want to win playing the game right, clean, hard, and fair. Things like favorable officiating and flopping put a sour taste in the mouth of the best BASKETBALL fans.

That said, I like the lakers better than their fans. The lakers(this years version) move the ball very well and play a good team game. The celtics play nice team defense, but their offense looks stagnant, its pretty ugly. For the sake of good basketball I'd prefer the lakers to win. The only thing that makes me want them to lose is their fans: "we beat the spurs, we are great". We(fans) dont beat anyone, you get to watch the players, you dont contribute one turds worth of effort in the victories.

In a van...down by the river.
Can we just get the Finals started for God's sake?
Sheesh......Pretty soon the NBA will have them take 2 weeks off like the NFL does.
Bynum will be 100% by game 7 at this rate.......but the SUNS still won't have a HC.

Bynum is damaged goods. I think that knee is more severly damaged than the Lakers what to let on
