Their ratings have been sliding and no one that works on this project evidently is smart enough to figure out why....

thats it. I cant stop watchign the show. But I can not buy the dvd. I was going too but this is my rebeliion against these moronic producers.

It is not the producers - it is ABC - they want the finale to be during sweeps (May) Poor planning on their part.

Seeing as you guys are panting already, I'd beg to differ. They know EXACTLY what they're doing. You don't roll out the finale of your second biggest hit(ABC) of the entire TV season(all the networks) before sweeps.

Wonder if that means Locke is kicked out of the group and his has to roam the forest by himself... He's by far my favorite character and if he weren't in the show I don't think I'd like Lost nearly as much...

Sounds to me like they don't know what they're doing

that's the show creators fault - not ABC's. It's inevitable that a show - which has sooo many unanswered questions will slide because eventually, the casual viewer will likely get sick of waiting. It also seems like a show that you have to watch every single week - and if you miss something you are completely out of loop, likely never to return.

A New Face Gets Lost
Source: TV Guide

TV Guide has the scoop on which actress will be introduced in hot ABC show Lost during the finale next month.

Turns out there was a movie star on board Oceanic Flight 815 when it crashed last fall. Michelle Rodriguez (Girlfight, Resident Evil, S.W.A.T.) will be introduced in the flashback-heavy season finale next month as a fellow passenger who befriends Matthew Fox's Jack prior to takeoff.

New episodes will start again on May 4th with the 2-hour finale on May 18th. More spoilers about the show's last episodes of Season One can be found here.

Okay, as to that radio transmission.

I was sure it said 'there were no survivors...', and apparently some versions of the closed captioning had the same thing.

Kristin from E! (yes, yes I don't have a life) said in her weekly chat to NOT believe the tv promo, to NOT believe the closed captioning. She said, the correct words were 'We're the survivors...' (well, or 'we are').

So, take that for what it's worth.

Discuss the implications of THAT amongst yourselves.

So, what does that mean?

Either he was talking to his group and there's some time thing going on.

Or there's another group from the same flight somewhere else.

Or it's another crashed flight (different people, but the same flight number?) altogether.

Aha! So I did hear that in the commercial they ran during Desperate Housewives.

I guess that means the back half of the plane people are somewhere nearby?
