You can’t tell from that angle but IMO that was a cheap shot by Simmons. The play was pretty much over and Rondale was letting up. Simmons came in kind of late and knocked an unsuspecting Moore on his ass.

I hang with a bunch of hippies and wacky tobacco planters - hackey sack and ping pong being the primary sports - so I'm totally okay with practice getting a little chippy and Simmons leaning into his new role

Meh, a RB who misses 3 games a year is no big deal. Most in the NFL miss games every season.

Reminds me of summer of 1997, I was taking summer classes at NAU and would go to TC almost every day, and every day Anthony Redmon and Swan would go at it, and every day Carl Mauk would be there encouraging it with a never ending line of F Bombs!

I forgot to mention that with McBride out for the R&W Practice that #81 Noah Togiaia was getting a ton of reps with the first team offense. From what I saw he was making the most of his opportunity with a hand full of catches over the middle. He could sneak onto the roster.

He has been around the league for a bit. I think the #3 TE spot is wide open so maybe he is able to stick. 4th year in the league but TEs can take a bit longer to develop.

I think he's the 4th TE at best. Cards media have been downtalking Trey McBride of late, but I think Togiaia'd be behind McBride, Ertz, and that guy we just signed from Tennessee.

Another thing that I forgot to mention from practice Saturday. On a couple of occasions Colt McCoy heaved up a prayer into double coverage. That cannot happen when the real bullets start flying.
