Really, really disappointed ...again...year after yaer...it's always the same thing...down and out before the season even gets started...hell...preseason hasn't begun and we could be looking at a team minus, Shipp, Boldin and Kendall...some offense...Sorry to be negative but this really hurts....but just incase

Where the hell is Shane? I always knew that guy was a slacker! He is blowing his chance for the big time!

;)

Reports on NFL Network say an overzealous fan of Quan's tripped him and he badly twisted the knee (could be MCL). The report also states that the overzealous fan is from Las Vegas and is a police officer.

Draw your own conclusions.

Second-year wide receiver Anquan Boldin suffered a knee injury Tuesday morning during pre-practice drills.

The record-setting Boldin, who broke the NFL's rookie receptions mark with 101 receptions, hurt his right knee during a half-speed, non-contact drill.

A minor injury to the same knee kept Boldin out of practice on Monday.

A second-round draft pick from Florida State (54th overall), Boldin was taken off the field on a cart and examined by trainers.

Does anyone know if it was his left or right knee?

I'm only asking because he tore the ACL in his left knee a couple years ago at FSU in similar circumstances.

I dont know why we are all panicing Quan will heal this injury with his mind in 1-2 days flat. Lets not forget he has save the planet earth from major meteors several times, fed starving nations, repaired the stock market and single handedly pin pointed Saddams hiding spot! He will fix this, lets not worry about it.

Anquan Boldin
SELECTED BY DENVER , ROUND 2, PICK 22, OVERALL PICK 54
WR | (6-0, 216, 4.73) | FLORIDA STATE
By Pro Football Weekly

[size=-1]Notes: Florida's Mr. Football in high school, when he was a standout quarterback and set a state record with 11,433 total career yards. Played in 10 games and started one as a true freshman in '99, and caught 12 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns, rushed four times for 33 yards and a touchdown and returned three kicks for 55 yards. Caught 41-664-6 in 2000, averaging 16.2 yards per catch. Missed all of '01 season and the '02 spring after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during preseason drills. Contended for the starting QB job prior to injury but returned to receiver after an injury to WR Robert Morgan depleted the WR corps.

Positives: Big, strong, physical receiver and team leader. Great size. Has improved strength and filled out his frame. Above-average hands. Can make the tough catch and makes plays when he touches the ball. Has a good burst. Can beat press coverage and shows run-after-the catch ability. Willing, above-average blocker. Shows a second gear. Can make the acrobatic catch, pluck and snatch. Has a good throwing arm.

Negatives: Has durability questions stemming from ACL injury in his left knee. Struggles beating press coverage and getting off the line. Spotty concentration and will drop some easy balls. Does not have good technique. Hurt himself with 40 times above 4.7 at the Combine.

Summary: Raw, lacks top-end speed and may not be fully recovered from an ACL injury, but he should be a first-day pick because of his natural size, athleticism and huge upside.
