On the subject of returns / replacements:
Well, my whammy bar on my Fender broke three days ago - the spring that puts the bar back in place must have broke (now it's limp and a pain to whammy), so I called EA - had to go through the phone system, but finally ended up taking to a real live person (there were no options regarding whammy bars).
Short story (too late) - they'll send me a box, I put the guitar in the box and send it back to them, and they replace it - no muss no fuss. That's good.
When my Fender broke, I figured that I'd better get a backup guitar, so I decided to get the Les Paul Wireless that is used on GH III (I already own one) - as my Fender doesn't work on GH III. Ordered it on line from Red Octane - and yesterday afternoon go to check on the status. Tracking says it's dropped off - but it wasn't. Wrote an e-mail to Red Octane, and within 30 minutes they replied back that it was no problem - they would send me another one right away 2-day ship, but now I have to sign for it.
So far, so good. I've been impressed on how the returns / problems have been resolved. We'll see how it works out.
