Vegas, baby, yeah!
I guess its just a matter of taste. I have talked to a couple of real drummers who love this game. I also know some guitar players who love it as well. I get though why it would be hard to go against your normal instincts. Pretty much the consensus is though that this game is more of a blast in multiplayer then solo.

RB is great for wasting a day with multiple players - I wouldn't be able to play for very long if it was just me. Get 4-8 people drinking beer and switching off instruments - it's a blast.

GH is more the single player game.

Finally got the drum stool - nice and high for a big guy like me. It is a bit wobbly though. And it took 3 weeks to arrive. But it helps on the drums.

I've been working with the guitar on the hard difficulty now. It's certainly tougher, but I'm holding my own OK.

If you were local, I'd have given you dcr's.

Down there twice a year - for the Home Opener and one other. My bro needs one too - if you still have it, and he hasn't bought one, we should make a deal.

Everyone in my house hated that song, until they tried it a couple of times. Now that song gets the most laughs.

Yeah, I was just surprised it was a full song and that timmy had real words in it, when it debuted on south park it was just the chorus and "TIMMAY, TIMMAY TIMMAY"

Warning about the wireless strat, I've just sent back my second one to Amazon because the overdrive doesn't work properly. Nothing happens when you tilt up, you have to push the back button to activate, which isn't a huge deal to some, but IMO it should work as advertised. After looking around some gaming forums this is pretty widespread. So much so that Amazon is no longer replacing these, only refunds.

We are probably going to give it a few months to get the bad stock out and try again later. Other than the overdrive issue, it was fantastic. :bang:

One thing I noticed is that the placement of the guitar makes a huge difference. At first I thought something was wrong. However, I noticed that when I sit down and the back of the guitar is angled at a slant (not as far down as laying it on your lap), it tends to go off when you didn't tilt. However, when you try and tilt it doesn't go off.

However, try standing. That made a huge difference with my tilt sensor. When I am standing holding it correctly it works without a hitch. I suggested this on another game forum and there were several people that tried standing up in a natural position and they noticed the same thing. The problem went away.

Placement of the guitar in the correct position seems to make a difference with a lot of people. I also tend to use the button though versus tilting. I mess up less as well.

Ok, I must be dense. I just bought a GH3 wireless guitar for the 360 but I'm not able to get it to connect. I hit the sync button, and the guide button starts flashing between two sets of two diagonal lights, then a few seconds later flashes all four lights. Anybody know what is up with this?

Edit: never mind. Fixed it. The fret buttons decide randomly not to work though. The game is literally unplayable, this is ridiculous.:rolleyes:

OK, so I'm trying to use my xbox live headset connected to the guitar, and when playing with a buddy I can hear him talk but he can't hear me.

Anybody know what my problem is?

Well, I think this game is going to do a number on me. Green Grass and High Tides on Expert is the only song that I can't beat on expert. The solo is too long and hard.
