Yeah, I noticed the door wiping effort on the way out, but wasn't noticing him not touching anything while inside. I got the feeling the shooting was a spontanious decision after Christopher realized he said way too much.
That's a good guess for sure. Lot's of drama there, and it would leave open the door for a future movie.
doesn't it seem like every year there's a buildup towards a mob war, but ultimately it ends with one of Tony's guy taking a bat to the head, shotgun blast to the face, cutting off one's head, etc, etc. I think the same goes here. Tony has to kill the person he looks at as his son - that's about as tragic as it gets imo.
