Why? We aren't going to compete for anything in the next couple years and if the trade helps us I don't see the problem. If they trade with the Lakers again, Jones needs to be fired immediately.

I don't suspect there is a third team yet, but that third team is likely where we would get the playmaking guard. So who's involved. Trying to find this out
Why? Ariza sucks and if the Suns can get a point guard and a draft pick, why the hell would Jones NOT do it?
The playmaking guard would likely be coming from a third team. Lakers get Ariza, third team gets KCP and the Suns get a playmaking guard. The only point guard the Lakers have to trade is Lonzo Ball, and he isn't leaving the Lakers. We don't need yet another project in Isaac Bonga or another shooting guard in a point guard's body in Josh Hart.
Jermy Lin
Markel Fultz
Dante Exum
The names being floated
Meh
Lin would make sense regardless of injury history. He nearly has the same salary as Ariza and thus the trade works and he would help the team a lot more this season than Ariza has. He wouldn't be a long term answer, but he would help to stop our historically bad run and if he plays well for us maybe we can get him on a team friendly contract in the off-season.Exum is an interesting one, but he just can't shoot to save his life. Lin might be a good move. I'd have to look back at his injury history, though.
What's fishy about that? It seems clear that they want to move on from him and KCP gives them a good contributer this year while also freeing up the $10m in salary that Fultz takes up next year.So Philly is taking KCP for Fultz? Sounds fishy.
