If we don't get a starting Point Guard or Power Forward, I would hold off . . . until we do.

If they trade with the Lakers again, Jones needs to be fired immediately.

hope we don't get hosed by the Lakers and have to watch Chandler and Ariza tearing it up in the playoffs

Why? Ariza sucks and if the Suns can get a point guard and a draft pick, why the hell would Jones NOT do it?

The only point guard the Lakers have to trade is Lonzo Ball, and he isn't leaving the Lakers. We don't need yet another project in Isaac Bonga or another shooting guard in a point guard's body in Josh Hart.

The playmaking guard would likely be coming from a third team. Lakers get Ariza, third team gets KCP and the Suns get a playmaking guard.

Exum is an interesting one, but he just can't shoot to save his life. Lin might be a good move. I'd have to look back at his injury history, though.

If Jones can make a positive asset out of Ariza, he deserves some credit for that. We'll see.

Fultz might be a total bust but we'd be fools not to take him in exchange for Ariza. The risk/reward there is off the charts.

Lin would make sense regardless of injury history. He nearly has the same salary as Ariza and thus the trade works and he would help the team a lot more this season than Ariza has. He wouldn't be a long term answer, but he would help to stop our historically bad run and if he plays well for us maybe we can get him on a team friendly contract in the off-season.

So Philly is taking KCP for Fultz? Sounds fishy.
What's fishy about that? It seems clear that they want to move on from him and KCP gives them a good contributer this year while also freeing up the $10m in salary that Fultz takes up next year.

Outside of the month-long "Linsanity" period, Jeremy Lin has proved to be G-League level. No thanks. We have enough of that crap.

The fishy part to me is that Ariza seems to make a lot more sense for them than KCP.

Well that’s never going to happen unless Philly is getting something else.
