How do you blame Amare for this? He shot 10-14 from the line, about his %.

Blame those idiots for colliding on the rebound and giving Atlanta a layup.

Amare could blocked out his guy, and jump for the rebound, but he just stood there like a rock. Then he misses a critical FT.

We will never win a championship with Amare. He continues to prove it night in and night out. Anyway , no need to get all sad about this loss. Think about it, we will never win a ring with this team so what exactly does this loss really mean? Nothing much!

Yep, it's looking it's time to trade him. Sure he contributes 20+ pts, but at critical times he fails over and over.

Yeah right he was only by far our best player tonight, he brought this team back. He had 20/9 in the second half alone.

He is not responsible for Richardson, Frye and Barbosa making almost no contribution at all.

He is not responsible for Nash crashing into Hill on the rebound causing them to lose the ball which resulted in the layup that made it a 1point game.

Amare, Dudley and Lopez were the only players with a positive +/- rating of course.

There were plenty of times before Amare could have hustled for a rebound, contested a shot, made the FT, etc. that would contributed to the winning of the game. It's not just this game though, there are plenty other times he becomes laxidasical and very nonchalant in critical times of the game.

Look, he's going to walk from the team this summer. There is no doubt in my mind he wants to play somewhere else. Might as well get some benefit from it before it's too late, hence trade him now.

tough break. Dudley has regressed. He should never have stepped back biting on Crawford's driving fake.

Before the last couple of plays, we went away from Amare for too long again when his first touch in awhile was a pass meant for Dragic but intercepted flying by Amare, which then resulted in a traveling TO.

We could turn around building up on this game. We need to solve a couple problems.

1. After switch of p&r, we need better plan to exploit mismatch than Nash one-on-one against the bigs.

2. We gotta have better defense than Frye offers us at C, particularly when he is not hitting his shots.

3. We need to keep it this way by having Nash give the ball up earlier and have others, Amare, Dragic, Hill make more decisions.

Amare dominating it against the great interior defense of Hawks was impressive. His moves may not be so smooth as better post players but he gets the defense into trouble so that we could get offensive rebounds etc.

It's easy to see his stats and miss all the ******* plays he does on defense or just standing around out of position and giving up easy offensive rebounds. Do you think Duncan would miss those two free throws? Hell no. If he wants to be paid like a game changing player then he needs to find ways to lead this team to win these games. I hope management sees that (doubt it Kerr is as closed to ******** as they come).

I thought Robin Lopez was a man possessed tonight. He was a force inside in the paint.

Oh please, you are just ridiculous to hang on those freethrows. Even Nash misses high pressure freethrows sometimes.

The most ******** thing is you bring up Duncan. Duncan has missed so many high pressure freethrows in his career, you can't count them.

The guy was by far our best player tonight, singlehandedly brought this team back when they were down. And still you blame him for not finding a way to win this game? For ****ing sake he had 28/14 against one of the best interior teams in the league.

There are a lot of players you can blame for the loss (Nash, Frye, JRich, Barbosa) but certainly not Amare.

How many games this season has Richardson been completely invisible?

They really need to dump him for expiring contracts or something. JRich and Barbosa for TMac and their pick.

You must be kidding. Amare was the only reason we were in the game. Nash reverted to his normal behavior to start the 3rd plus Frye's bad defense, this gave the Hawks the lead. Then it's only Amare causing havoc in Hawks paint to give us a chance to stay in the game and to get a late game 4 pt lead. Yet, we ignored him for 2-3 min stretch to lose that lead, only to get back up on top when he scored for us again. Remember, Atlanta is one of the best teams in NBA playing at home! Yet, you seemed to see his imperfections only.

TD missed a lot more critical FTs than Amare.

Unfortunatelly, Amare didnt dominate today anybody but Marvin Williams, a small forward. The Suns played big all night to have that matchup and Amare still could only put up 9/21 from the field (plus 3 turnovers) with those missed FTs, not that impressive.

His offensive rebounding was very good, though that Lopez-Amare front court is god awful getting defensive rebounds.
