The Morris twins were showing Dragic some love

Here's the scary thing...they will be one of the West's highest paid backcourts after Knight gets his extension this summer.
And you know that no matter what, Knight will get resigned by the Suns since they gave up so much to get him in the first place.
Where do you get this ****? You made this claim in another thread and it was 100% false. No offense, but you need to check your facts and not just repeat BS you read on message boards. There are several west teams that will have higher paid backcourts in the West. I already gave like 6 teams in the other thread. Lakers will have a higher paid backcourt for starters with Kobe making $25+.

I am watching the video replay of the Len/Whiteside tussle and Len is getting all the blame saying Len through Whiteside down. Actually Whiteside did not go down. It seems a lot of the media outlets are making Len out to be the bad guy when Whiteside instigated the incident. I think the referees went into this game looking for trouble from the Suns and they got a self fulfilling prophecy.
I am shocked at the above fines. So, the NBA is basically saying you can charge at a guys mid-section and tackle him .... And you'll only be fined 15 K ???
What am I missing here? I feel like the 12th men on teams can just go in games, try to instigate stuff with stars, and then TACKLE them. What will happen is both guys will get ejected ... I'm confused. I'm not sure what Len was supposed to do when Whiteside's arm/elbow came crashing into his shoulder/head area. The natural reaction to that is what Len did ... There was nothing "natural" about Whiteside's tackle.
If teams are smart, they'll be using much more cheap shot tactics from their "3rd string centers" against opposing stars.
The NBA set a dangerous precedent ... The next Earl Barron dunk, he better be jumping into a star big on the other team - Which would then lead to that star big pushing Barron a bit ... Then I guess Barron can just tackle the "star big" down, both will get ejected, and Barron will get hit with a little 15 K fine (well worth taking the star player out of the game)
Dragic jumped off this sinking ship at the right time. Good chance he could have hurt his market value and $$ if he stayed on the Suns til summer even if IT got traded. For a player who played on an insanely bargain contract the last 3 years, I'm sure he wants to finally get that big pay day and can't blame him.
Seems like people in Miami love him already and he loves it there as well

I just come here now to read Slinkys and KloDs comments
They have a team now that is basically what Goran had last year to work with with a much better Len and minus Frye plus Knight. Lets see how Bledsoe does the rest of the season.
I would love to see Suns in the playoffs, but I suspect the reality is they will place 9-11th place in the west at the end.

I still get the sense that Bledsoe is going to be dangled for a big in the offseason.
Edit: And so many people are freaking out about this roster. The Suns have, what, the 3rd youngest team in the league? Yet they're above .500 in the Western Conference. Put them in the East, against that competition, and they're a lock. You've got teams 5+ games under .500 competing for a spot in the East. That's horrible.
I'm not saying they don't have issues. They do. Primarily they're just not very likeable and Bledsoe is a terrible PG. Great talent. Exciting player. But a terrible PG. That's going to have to change, and I don't know if it can.
The Suns have a lot of young assets and "raw" talent. They just need a few veterans to help guide them. I don't think they're the trainwreck that most fans do, and I expect to see a busy offseason. McD is clearly not afraid to make moves. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Bledsoe and the Wonder Twins in different cities next season.
Had we not made any trades we would have finished 9th or 10th. Having traded Goran and Thomas, 10th or 11th is a given IMO.
Steve
This is probably accurate. A true evaluation of the moves made will have to wait until next season.
I really don't mind a young roster and watching this team grow. I don't mind them stock piling assets. I just want to see them get away from this 2 PG crap and to continue to look at the PF spot.
In terms of dangling Bledsoe? I also kind of had that feeling after the Knight trade. I thought...it's sort of dumb to admit that you screwed up with your strategy, trade half the roster only to go with a 2 PG system AGAIN. I was thinking that they would use this rest of this year to either decide to pony up for BK, trade Bledsoe or move on from Knight.
